Soggiorno incantevole in location ottima

We had an absolutely incredible stay at Viesca. The setting is beautiful. The photos don't do it justice. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Concetta welcomed us and kindly showed us around, talked us through the facilities... The pool is lovely, and it was great to be able to play tennis as well. We did not try any of the spa trea**ents, but there was a really good selection available. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The only negative thing we have to say about it/Viesca is that breakfast was rather slow. We often had to go inside and order from the bar/find waiters, as they would not necessarily come to your table. The cooked breakfast was not quick, and a better selection would be appreciated (e.g. eggs benedict or royale on nice bread rather than just boiled/scrambled/poached eggs). We look forward to coming back one day - definitely one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at!

Vast idyllic surroundings , dotted with neat villas , customised food , great wine and hospitality made up for a memorable trip to Viesca Toscana - to be repeated every year ! Based in Viesca , we did day trips to the medieval village Il Borro , Cortona up in the hills and , of course , the nearby Italian brand outlets for some value for money shopping !!

Nice property and we enjoyed staying in a 3 bedroom cottage there. However, we had a problem with water not being hot enough in the showers. It would start hot and then drop to a much colder temperature. It was problematic for us. Especially for kids. We reported this to reception twice and never had anyone to check the situation.

This is a over priced hotel, touting a “country experience” but very poor service and poorly maintained rooms. The rooms are not user friendly, totally hazardous for seniors and with minimum facilities.

Light on room AC was not able to turn off and very bright, had a hard time sleeping. AC unit in room did not work. Checked out one day early due to above, staff initially agreed with ******* for an refund and then denied refund. We moved to another location.

This hotel was a massive disappoin**ent. It over promised and under delivered. Our experience was underwhelming from the start. We drove up a driveway that lacked any no-entrance signage to get to the reception and we’re chastised by unfriendly and rude staff. During the check-in, we were given no information on the property and the breakfast time, but we’re told that the boutique hotel had no space outdoors for us to have dinner. When we asked about breakfast time at the restaurant, we were told it is from 8 to 11:30am. When we showed up the following day for breakfast at 11, we were told the buffet was closed and they had thrown away the croissants. Some basic elements of service were absent. No free water bottles in the room, no refilling of coffee capsules, a dysfunctional AC, slow replenishment of breakfast buffet, little attentiveness to your ordering coffee or tea, no extra towels at the pool, no one asking you at dinner whether you’d like to have dessert, and so on and so forth. But this was not the end of our ill-fated adventure. When we asked them on our last day after our breakfast was done at 10:30 about the check out time, we were told it was at 10:30! In all my years of traveling around the world, I have never seen a checkout time that coincides with the end of breakfast at a supposedly luxury holiday resort. All is all, this is not at all what you’d expect of a four start hotel with luxury pricing. If these shortcomings are not fixed through serious reforms and management change, this property is bound to bring the Ferragamo brand into disrepute.

We have been there recently for the second time and it was excellent again. The property is well situated, nearby many highlights and all the estate is well maintained and surrounded by trees and flowers. Room very clean and well furnished, nice and huge bathroom, comfy bed and lots of space for all belongings. All the staff, from the reception to the gardener are very attentive, friendly and helpful. Dinner outstanding, but the portions are rather small. Breakfast for Italian conditions very good, with fresh fruits, fresh orange juice, joghurt, eggs, cheese and ham, brown and white bread etc. The pool area is beautiful with comfy sun beds and big sunshades. Parking is on site and free of charge. We definitely will come back.

Conoscevo già il Borro residenza della Famiglia Ferragamo, una certezza in raffinatezza ed accoglienza. Per la quarta volta ho scelto Viesca sempre della famiglia Ferragamo per immergersi per un paio di giorni nella tranquilla campagna del Valdarno. Grazie, grazie alla signora Maria ed a Dominique per la grande accoglienza a noi riservata. Dovevamo rientrare a Roma ma ci siamo trattenuti ancora una notte perché davvero tanto coccolati. Un plauso speciale allo chef Michelangelo, mano delicatissima su materie prime di altissima qualità. Cucina evoluta e che merita presto riconoscimenti gastronomici. Un sogno un soggiorno trascorso al Viesca dal 4 al 6 gennaio 2023, curato nei minimi dettagli. Complimenti famiglia Ferragamo, Padroni di Casa ! complimenti a tutti voi che con passione e competenza contribuite a rendere unica la nostra permanenza !. Arrivederci a presto in primavera .
