Travelodge Reading Whitley

I have had the privilege of staying at this hotel since April, for personal reasons. The day I arrived I was greeted with a huge smile, that made a difference to me at my lowest. Karen is without doubt the face of this hotel, professional, helpful, kind, caring then we have the double trouble team of Laura & Donna the house keeping team, excellent service and great friendship, always to a 10+× service. Shaoib great friendly night service man, always a friendly smile and chat. Then we have Lisa, the big boss, she is a fantastic lady, friendly, approachable and always on hand to help, many great conversations with Lisa over a coffee like the above mentioned. Tge hotel may be budget but this team makes this hotel like the Ritz, and fantastically located to business, shopping, food, Mr Flames, the World Upside Down to mention. I absolutely adore this place and the people that run it, 5 stars isn't enough for this team they deserve 5million stars, brilliant place, brilliant hotel, fantastic location and well worth every penny. Stop here once a month for work and I've not got a bad word to say about the place, clean rooms, helpful staff, a pub 30 second walk across the car park, ample parking, what more could you ask for

good location right next door to a pub which does a good carvery. staff here are so friendly working different shifts have met pretty much all on reception karen , k , lisa and shoaib who was working a double shift was still happy to assist in anything . great staff

Wonderful stay at this hotel. We had a double room upstairs on the first floor, very spacious and clean. Staff were ever so friendly, from the reception staff to the hardworking cleaners. Brilliant service from all we encountered. Location was ideal for us, close to Reading University which was important as we were attending our daughter’s graduation ceremony. So glad we picked this hotel.
