One of the best options to stay in puri. Great rooms with all modern amenities, large room size, well maintained building wd rooms. The location of the hotel is the best catch as it is close to the blue flag beach and also close to temple. Very helping and friendly staff makes your stay more peaceful as they are ready to help you 24*7. its a must recommended hotel. if you are visiting with your family room that are awesome. overall a best place to stay.

Convenient location with temple and beaches in proximity. They helped with a priest for a temple visit which was really helpful. The food was good though the breakfast spread can be improved. Overall experience was good and I would recommend this hotel for Puri visit

A good hotel, close to the beach. Value for money. We stayed here for two nights on 6th and 7th March during our visit to Puri. Room was fairly big, cozy and comfortable. Good ambience, Quality food with fairly good variety, service can be improved.

We family of 13 plus 3 kids from Bangalore had trip to Puri; stayed at Hotel Sakthi international; 3 rooms with 3 guests per room and 2 rooms with 2 each guests. Check in was normal they allocated third floor which was hot asked for second floor they did it without any hassle. Food was good breakfast is really enjoyable for our family which is 100% pure vegetarian; staff were responsive found value for money. We stayed for two nights, one evening we had my daughter's birthday, the food served ***** with Cake liked by all. The beach is 500 meters away ( paid beach which is clean) Panda who took us for the second evening darshan ( Hotel Panda) explained, took around and helped to get the pooja and Prasad; felt worth of taking his help. Good hotel and staff - We enjoyed Puri Stay.

Very good Service! Breakfast excellent, very tasty! Very nice stay! Nice location. At the hotel, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. We asked for an extra bed and it was provided. The bathroom was also very clean.

Hotel Shakti International in Puri, Orissa, is like a breath of fresh air. The place is super clean, making you feel comfortable from the moment you step in. The staff is incredibly friendly; they go out of their way to make you feel at home. It's not just about doing their job; you can tell they genuinely want you to have a great stay. What's really cool is that there's no hint of unfriendliness anywhere. The staff is always ready with a smile and happy to help. It's a nice change from places where you might feel a bit of hostility with big rooms and super clean washrooms. Shakti International nails it with cleanliness, polite staff, and a welcoming vibe—making your stay more than just a hotel visit. P.S: the place is near to beach.

The hotel was very average.. There was inadequate hot water available in the bathrooms, the staff was lethargic and lazy.. The linen was stained and looked used. Our over all experience was unhappy and I definitely will not recommend this hotel. It does not come cheap either so I fail to understand why this attitude of indifference towards customers. I hope they take cognisance of these shortcomings and improve their standard.. Besides they did not accept our international credit card despite calling themselves ‘international’ and being located in a tourist city popular with international travelers.

We stayed here for 3 nights with family. Travel time from bhubaneswar airport to the hotel is roughly 1 hr 20 min. The roads are good with less traffic.  The hotel is on VIP road which is 18 km from Jagannath Temple.  Check in was smooth. Checkin times are 8 am , but we reached well after 12.40 pm. There are 3 floors. There are no views from any of rooms, that ways it's quite a bit of disappoin**ent. Anyways from VIP road the beaches are 1 km away, so it's difficult to get those views.  This is not beach hotel but is closer to blue flag beach which is like a private beach. The entry fee to this beach is 20 rs for 3 hrs and 50 rs for multiple entries and all day validity. This beach has sitting area and quite a bit of walking space and a children area. The beach is super clean.  There are no grocery shops nearby to the hotel, but small tea stalls etc.  Room is compact and clean. It looks it's recently renovated. They provide 2 mineral bottle every day.  Major thing missing is a locker esp given that if you visit Jaganath, one cannot carry wallet, mobile and other things inside the temple. We had requested for microwave, that was not available. Another issue is bathroom is always wet, as there is no ventilation for it to dry. But a ceiling fan is available.  We faced 4 problems 1. The travel desk was the worst that i have seen. We booked cab for airport drop, the cab was delayed by 45 minutes and the travel desk had no control over the cab driver. Also, we had luggage and the cab that was sent was CNG cab, which means you cannot keep luggage at back. Solace was driver was good and car was clean. It spoiled our mood and the added anxiety of losing the flight. The issue is these guys are not customer centric. I would suggest to avoid the travel agency or keep one hour margin if booking with them. Their intent is to just earn money.   2. We were informed by the hotel staff (and not by reception) that they have a panda who does free darshan for hotel guest and we need not pay anything to them. We had good darshan with panda. But we were lied multiple times by Panda. He told us that we can pay for Pooja and the ***dir folks will do Pooja with our name. Whereas we knew that Pooja cannot be done in evening but he insisted that we pay at counter of ***dir and that he will arrange for providing the bhog and Pooja prasad to hotel in evening late. The Pooja prasad never came that day. In fact he didn't even call or inform. The next day we had to inform the reception twice and remind , then the Panda contacted us and the prasad was promised for afternoon. Again the same never came. The prasad, and it was not fresh came at night post 9 pm. The next day panda came twice to de***d dakshina which was supposed to be at our discretion. We found his behaviour very crafty and didn't like him de***ding money from us.  3. Housekeeping staff was slow and we had to call reception multiple times to remind. The Hotel is well located on the VIP road and just few hundred meters away from sea beach. The rooms are very spacious and clean unlike other beach hotels the property is quite new and has excellent facilities. It has very good inhouse resturant where food is quite delicious and economical. The hotel staff is very polite and friendly. Special thanks to Ms Sona the receptionist for making our stay memorable.
