I really like the hotel, you can relax there and enjoy your vacation. The food is great

The property was as advertised. The pools were lovely. Staff was mostly friendly and upbeat except for the front desk. The women were rude and didn’t have a lot of answers as far as restaurants and transportation. The bell hops and housekeepers were wonderful. So upbeat and polite. Most of the waiters and waitresses were excellent.

We had a five day four night stay in this all inclusive resort and we were only allowed to visit the restaurants twice we had to make reservations in advance, which was OK, but we forgot and the resort was practically empty and they still would not allow us to make a late reservation we asked for a king size bed. We received two full beds. They said they will push the beds together and make one bed. They push the bed together and left a 3 inch gap so we still had two beds we had to ask multiple times for anything we needed , the food was subpar. The drinks were subpar. I would not recommend.

We have a good time to the hotel but what I didn’t like don’t know what was but we got a lot of bites. Maybe some flies in the room or bugs we don’t know exactly but when we wake up, we have a lot of marks on the skin.

The food had a wide variety of choices that were delicious as well as the spa that was easily accessible and the kiosk that were there made local artisans accessible for us

Nice place, great staff. AC in our room didn’t work and maintenance wasn’t able to fix it so that was tough (close to 80 degrees in our room at night). Great beach and pools. No where to walk to outside of the resort.

Fantastic vacation! Wouldn't hesitate to return. The staff was incredible and welcoming in every area. The Arcos Restaurant was a perfect choice for a premium meal and the buffet rarelt disappointed.

This resort was very pretty, the staff was amazingly friendly and always happy to help with anything. Entertainment in theatre was fantastic. Adult pool was for adults only no wiggle room for any child to go in despite how quiet they were. The pool where the children could go in was loud, deep and had a swim up bar in it which was annoyingly loud - not resorts fault but if you want quiet while your child is swimming- it’s not happening. Not every child wants loud fun. Beach was beautiful but not enough beach umbrellas to give you shade. If you got there late then no chance of getting a chair with umbrella. The food was ok. No real variety - lots of Mexican dishes so if you like Mexican then you’re in luck. Food flavour is mediocre- Italian restaurant was blah. Spainish restaurant was awesome, steak house was awesome. We never tried Japanese but heard it was ok. Lunch time the steak house turns into a taco bar/eat in where you order off menu and we enjoyed that at lunch. Hamburgers, hotdogs club house all delicious. Desserts were very flavourful actually, I would say I had the best desserts at this resort out of all the resorts I’ve ever been to. The rooms were spectacular. I loved our room. It seemed like all the rooms in this resort were ocean views or partial ocean views, which was nice to wake up to. All in all, We enjoy this resort And would recommend it. It is a smaller resort so I like smaller resorts, but some people do not. We always found spots to sit at the pool.

Except for the drought conditions at this time, the hotel is located in a lush hillside location facing a beautiful, active fishing boat cove. The rooms are exceptionally large and well-furnished and maintained. There are three pools. A small children's pool with slide, a quiet pool, a very large pool with pool bar and activities. Much too loud in the afternoon, and a quiet large, adults only pool with a small island with fun waterfall feature. Main dining room serves excellent food three meals a day. Los Arcos snacks, steak and fish is open air next to beach and great for lunch. The other three specialty restaurants are satisfactory. The "Prime" lounge with always excellent host Caesar is comfortable with good refreshments but less than satisfactory snacks. Entire menu should be revisited. Reception staff is highly capable and friendly. Bus to Downton Puerto Vallarta, outside the resort is frequent and cheap. We have visited Barcelo Mismoloya about seven times. Each visit exceeds expectations. Only significant flaw is afternoon amplification of pool activities. Amps should be pointed toward activity area and not rooms and reduced in excessive volume. ******* Prime status was greatly utilized and appreciated.
