Aparthotel Costa Volcan & Spa

The location is good. The soap and no any amenities it’s bad. It’s weird to ask from the reception and they said they don’t have any, cause they don’t work with any company. It’s basic hygienic. And it feels like they’re saving money even for that. The reception are nice but some of them should know a bit more about basic information, getting around etc.

Great location for access to ***** / old town , lovely staff , wifi poor , decor average, very noisy in apartment to rear until 2am and after 6am , don’t think I would stay in them apartments over road in old town again. 100 metre walk to playa chica was ideal , lovely beach

We had a amazing stay this our 5th visit rooms very clean the staff very polite and welcoming we had left small change out on our dressing table but still there when we got back so don’t believe for one minute that cleaner’s are stealing and if so like one visitor said money was stolen from son’s wallet not once but twice .so if happened once why would you leave wallet out again? More like a insurance scam to me . We have been to this place for 5 years and never had anything taken . Get your self a safe if your worried about the odd theft review

We got a cheap package deal after reading the reviews I was slightly nervous, however I shouldn’t have been the rooms are clean, there’s a little shop inside with all your basics, pool side bar is very reasonable, nice food and drinks, the staff where so friendly and we will return in future we met some lovely people around the pool and had a great laugh Very central to PDC old and new town plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on your doorstep Beautiful beach couple of minutes walk away

I write this review while still at the Costa Volvan. Went out on a fishing trip this morning with my two sons. Arrived back to room to find our room had been cleaned, great, but my son had his money taken from his wallet which he had left at bedside locker. This is the second time he had money taken from his wallet by the cleaners at this premises while we were out. He also had money taken from his wallet last week also. The common denominator is his money went missing after the cleaners had been in the room. Asked to speak with the manager to report the issue. Was told the manager was not available so spoke with a senior staff member behind reception. She was very dismissive of my reporting of the issue and told me it was the cleaners word against mine and she trusts her staff and why would she trust me ?. She also said that I am the first ever person to report that money has been taken from their room. Funny thing is I’ve read at least one trip advisor review with someone other person reporting the theft of cash from their room at the Costa Volcan. She also told me that it wasn’t the same cleaner on both days but the strange thing is I never told her what day it was when the first theft happened, so how could she know who the cleaner was ? It was a total circle the wagons job and deny, deny, deny tactic. Do not leave anything of value in your room when you leave it as there is a very strong chance it may not be there when you return. With that said we had enjoyed our stay up to today. The staff we had encountered up to meeting the senior staff member were all very good and extremely friendly.

Currently on day 4 of a 10 night stay Having read mixed views before booking we were a little hesitant, but the price seemed to suit our needs. The location is perfect, it's about 200m from a lovely sandy beach, great for swimming or relaxing. From there you can also choose several other beach areas not too far away. Only a few minutes walk to either the main ***** full of shops bars and restaurants, running about a mile across the sea front. Or to the harbour in the opposite direction, which is much quieter with plenty of sea front restaurants, some which are a little classier. But the Hotel is just far away enough to be very quiet in the evening and during the night. The hotel and rooms are functional and immaculate. We're in 416 on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea and pool area, which is cleaned and mopped by the pool attendant morning and night. The pool area gets the sun the whole day and is served by a little shop/bar cafe. The staff are really friendly and extremely polite, always willing to help with any queries. This is NOT a five star hotel and never will be. BUT I wouldn't hesitate to come back as it suits our needs perfectly. Perfect location Really clean Friendly staff Excellent price

Location was good but the accommodation was very tired. Unfortunately, our apartment overlooked the main ***** which, of course, was busy and noisy every night. The furniture was uncomfortable and the beds were very noisy every time we moved. Everything about the apartment was very tired and in need of updating. No workspace in the kitchen, very few electrical sockets, no usb sockets and no oven. TV was very small and couldn't be used without the remote which had to be collected from reception (10€ deposit) Hairdryer was available at an extra charge. Onsite pool snack bar was fine with friendly staff.

Have stayed here a few times, the apartments are clean, tidy, have everything we needed and are in a great location for the old town and the *****. Unfortunately we didn't get a sea view this time, but did have a pool view, so that was fine. All the staff here are so friendly and helpful, it a joy to stay there, the only thing that lets it down are some of the guests, they have to speak so loud and use the "F word" in every sentence! We will definitely stay again, but think I'll pack some ear plugs!

Another brilliant stay at Costa Volcan.Superb location and the staff are brilliant.The pool and surrounding areas are kept spotless and there are always sun loungers available.Happy Hour at the pool bar from 3pm-4pm.Whats not to like?Back in January,cant wait.
