Red Level at Gran Melia Palacio de Isora

The location of the hotel is spectacular. The view is stunning. Everything is super clean. Every evening you have a show to keep you entertained, and it's pretty great. Staff is incredibly helpful and makes you feel incredibly comfortable and welcome, and it feels genuine:) Special thanks to Leah and Andres who made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked into the hotel. Wonderful place, will be returning again

Wonderful experience in the, “Red Level” area. The private areas made a huge difference with crowds, noise, and comfort. We emailed what reservations we wanted and they took care of it all for us where as others I think are able to do it in the app. The Bali bed experience was awesome, highly recommended with the little private curtains and concierge button for services.. don’t feed the birds or they’ll come back in droves like a horror film. The weather was incredible, that was one of the biggest draws for me. Perfectly warm but with a cool breeze that’s not going to make you cold just allows you to feel nit miserable hot. The transfer was fast and easy, we booked it via email to the hotel and the driver was waiting with our name on a paper. The food. I was pleasantly surprised by all of the food. Never had a bad meal or bad experience. In Pangea they have a special area away from the crowds by a little koi pond which was nice. The Palle was fantastic… the ice cream scoopers were the most delightful. Lots of available food and none of it was bad. There’s fruit and rando snacks available most of the time I think when it isn’t meal time. Agave by the pool in front of the gym was really pleasant. Mexican food, all great. The guac starter is a must and large enough to share. Can’t go wrong with the quesadillas for anyone. Duo is at the back left corner of the main plaza area where the entertainment next to Nami (asian). The steak was really nice, cooked perfectly for my wife and I. Little salty at first but I loved it. It was also a very relaxing experience. Nami right next to Duo with the same podium for reservation check. It was nice with sushi and all kinds of Asian food, we loved it. Some of the guests were having a special Teppanyaki grill experience which looked nice. La Terrasse was a very nice taster menu, a very pleasant experience when the sun went down a bit, I’d do either a 6:30 or 9:30 reservation if you can so the sun isn’t in your eyes. Breakfast, we had Pangea and the red level breakfast. Pangea was always real busy after 8am and I would definitely forgo for the red level experience. We had all of the breakfast on the menu and loved it all. Oasis was very nice as well, we had lunch only there and enjoyed it, no need for reservations for any lunch if the restaurant is open for lunch that day. Spa, we weren’t wild about it, the ladies were nice and professional for our couples massage but I’m not sure I’d do it again. We didn’t use the water area but you do need to book it if you want to. One suggestion is to arrive an hour earlier to user the little whirlpool and small pool in the massage area before the treatment. The Red level for families area near the gym, I wasn’t sure it was actually a part of the Red level, it was less per night than the actual red level reservations, we went inside and were delighted for some AC, soft serve ice cream, espresso machine, and snacks. Another wonderful stay at the best hotel on the beautiful island of Tenerife. The amazing staff always with smiles on their faces and nothing is too much trouble. Mario, Vero, José, Dylan, Denis, Eva, Vanessa, Alex, Erica, Elisa the list is endless. If you are looking for unrivaled luxury then Red Level adults only is the place to be. A huge thank you to all that made our stay very special.

Visited numerous times over last 10 years and what was an exclusive 5+ star redlevel experience is 4star at best now with everyone in the hotel piling into evening drinks like a hoard of animals.. the exclusive canapés are now just dips/pizza

Red level is 5 star from start to finish. We upgraded on our second day of a 9 day holiday. We considered it to be money well spent. All of the A la carte restaurants were first class. The staff are polite and attentive throughout. Any small issues we had were addressed by the Red Level reception staff - particularly Lea who is a credit to the Melia group with her friendly and efficient service. The list of staff could be endless but special mention to Lorenzo, Sofia, Leidi Rosa and Andreas in the restaurants who really made us feel valued as a customer, and Angel in the pool bar - nothing ever too much trouble with a cheerful smile

We chose RedLevel at Gran Melia Palacio de Isora to celebrate my wife's milestone birthday, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Opting for the Red Level for families turned out to be a brilliant decision. Prior to our arrival, I reached out to the Red Level for families concierge, explaining that my wife had injured her knee, making it challenging for her to navigate the resort on foot. To our delight, they promptly arranged for a wheelchair throughout our stay and allocated a first-floor room with direct pool access—an exceptional level of service that set the tone for our visit. The staff members were exceptional, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They not only knew our names but also surprised us with a birthday cake in our room and efficiently addressed any requests via the WhatsApp system. The perks of the Red Level were indispensable for our family. The dedicated Red Level for families area during breakfast, featuring a la carte service, proved invaluable with two young children and a member using a wheelchair. Additionally, the segregated section of the main pool provided a hassle-free spot without worrying about finding available chairs. The Bali beds by the pool were a luxurious touch, and the Red Level for families pool struck the perfect balance, being kid-friendly yet not excessively crowded. A special mention goes to the delightful daily addition of a poolside mat for the kids (and the young at heart, including myself) to enjoy. For those contemplating between the standard side and the Red Level for families, I wholeheartedly recommend the latter. The added benefits and thoughtful services make the Red Level worth the investment. Having visited numerous extraordinary hotels worldwide and considering ourselves well-traveled, Gran Melia Palacio de Isora now holds a special place in our hearts. In fact, we're already planning our return, a testament to the lasting impression this remarkable destination has left on us.

Our ninth visit ( seventh in Red Level) this time with family. A lovely 5 days back at the Gran Melia with perfect weather. We were greeted by Jessica and Denis this time who made us feel welcome to be back. Improvements are a much better variety of nibbles throughout the day and also at the open bar in the late afternoon. We stayed bed and breakfast the standard of which was high as usual. It’s great to see some of the staff who have been there for years. Our rooms looked out of the side of the hotel this time towards Los Gigantes and due to palm trees they were cool and the view was a bit obstructed. All the staff were great and nothing is too much trouble. I think a few sunbed cushions perhaps need replacing now and also staff in the main bar area need to check room numbers against names because someone put two drinks on our bill. Otherwise we had a great stay again and because we love it so much we’re coming back in March. Be careful of using Hoppa/ Suntransfers because they didn’t pick us up and we had to get a local taxi which was a bit stressful. See you in the spring!

My partner and I stayed 2 nights in Red Level Meliá in early November 2023. The staff are very friendly with great service and the spa is great. This was our first experience with Meliá as relatively seasoned travellers in luxury hotels. It’s the first time I leave a negative review for a stay. My main complaint is the room. We had a deluxe ocean view room for approximately 800 euros per night. This is a price level where you expect excellent quality. However, the room did not have a partial ocean view as advertised and on the second night the bed smelled like cigarettes. Neither me or my partner smoke. We mentioned the sea view to staff, where they offered a beverage as compensation. I politely declined. Conclusion: Meliá offered us a room in a price category they cannot achieve to meet. Either it is a ripoff or poor quality. Either way my trust in the brand has been eroded and I sadly won’t return.

One of the best Hotels I have ever stayed at. Absolutely fabulous service. We stayed in on an all-inclusive basis in the Red Level fully frontal Ocean View Room with Hot Tub and it was amazing. Beautiful room, seriously comfortable bed and wonderful views. Absolutely everything included - cocktails, all the food in all the restaurants - nothing with an additional charge. The food in the restaurants was simply amazing, Chateaubriand in Duo was stunning, the sushi in Nami was delicious. The pool and bar in the red level was fantastic - staff couldn't do enough for you. Evening entertainment in the Plaza was good fun with staff constantly coming round and serving drinks. I could go on and on ... but basically I would go back in a heartbeat.
