We booked into a newly renovated room in August 2022 for 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves. We did find the room a little warm with only a fan, so had to open the windows - which open onto the Tuscan hills. The swallows are all housed up above the windows, so that made for some interesting views at sun up and sun down! And we dealt with wasps too as there were no screens. But the place was lovely. Breakfast is self serve in the communal kitchen and the gardens outside the abbey are truly lovely. Annalisa is helpful and communicative. We used the Abbey as a home base to explore Perugia and the local Baci chocolate factory. The only challenge we had was the stairs as I use a cane to walk. There are a LOT of stairs - and they’re medieval, so you know! So be prepared. Highly recommended!

What a place to stay. You can have all the feeling of staying in an abbey with all the comforts. The rooms are simple and recently renovated. There is a shared kitchen for breakfast but also open all day for all residents. The garden is excellent with all kind of plants. The owners very kind. You can even use products that they grow themselves. It is a place where you can stay all day if you don't do routes in the nearby places.

Un piccolo angolo di paradiso per la quiete e pace che si vive. Appena fuori Pietrafitta questa antica struttura riorganizzata a agriturismo per posizione ti permette di visitare in pieno il Trasimeno. Camere rustiche e pulite, buonissima la colazione con prodotti freschi, ottima l’accoglienza.

Abbiamo soggiornato per il compleanno di mio marito, giusto una notte. L'accoglienza è stata molto cordiale ed è l'unica struttura in cui siamo stati dove il check-in viene fatto insieme ad una visita guidata, nel corso della quale i proprietari non si risparmiano nei racconti legati al luogo. L'abbazia è un gioiello ancora in divenire, c'è una Chiesa bellissima e la parte dedicata alle camere è totalmente ristrutturata, con ottimo gusto. L'Abbazia si presenta con restauri parziali che hanno mantenuto i materiali originali, esaltando l'antica a**osfera del luogo. La conduzione è di tipo "familiare", i proprietari sono gentilissimi e molto disponibili. Consigliatissimo, soprattutto a chi ha una sensibilità storico-artistica che sappia apprezzare le vere dimore storiche.

Un luogo incantevole in cui trascorrere una vacanza unica, vivendo l'esperienza di alloggiare in una abbazia del XII secolo, con stanze affrescate, porte originali, panche e strumenti di lavoro dal valore storico e culturale inestimabile. Per vivere appieno l'a**osfera dell'abbazia, consigliatissima la cena, servita con prodotti e piatti tipici molto saporiti. Il calore dei proprietari rendono il soggiorno indimenticabile. I costi, sia del soggiorno sia della cena, sono particolarmente convenienti. Assolutamente da non perdere.
