Le Lappe

Le Lappe is the perfect escape in the stunning Chianti. Suites are equipped with fireplace and hot tub, furbished in cozy and warming country style. I loved every moment I spent in this place, especially the breakfast in the amazing winter garden, a real jewel. Dinner was also outstanding, my compliments to all the chefs for the menu and to all the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Keep it up!

I recently spent two weeks at this charming villa in Cavriglia, Tuscany as part of a large group celebrating a friends 75th birthday.  The main villa was built in the 13th century and is the quintessential Tuscan villa perched high on a hill with sweeping views from almost every window. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, most baths have jacuzzis and rain head showers with endless hot water. The lbeautiful infinity pool was a welcome respite during the hot days! We found the food exceptional. Breakfast was served buffet style with a wide assor**ent including yogurt, fresh fruits, cereals, and pastry's in addition to eggs, either scrambled our cooked to your liking. Lunches were seated and varied but always included a perfect freshly made pasta course. The dinners were indescribably delicious and consisted of four courses! Two weeks and no menu item was repeated even once. Lastly, but first in my mind was the wonderfully gracious and always helpful staff led by the House Manager (Principessa del Le Lappe), Valentina!. Her staff, Paolo, Franco, Alessio and Sampath could not have been more helpful. Special thank you to Leesa and Sara for their kitchen magic and to Alketa for keeping our rooms and our clothing spotless. We may have arrived as strangers but we left as friends!

Lovely venue, but the abysmal WiFi and average (at best) kitchen make this a hard “no” for a repeat visit. It was nonstop frustration for most of us trying to get connected for work and checking on kids, to the point that most attempts failed, and if more than one of us (out of 20) were on, it failed entirely. That, despite the fact that the hotel’s private network worked just fine (I was able to test it)…they just refuse to allow the guest WiFi network the bandwidth to function. Meals were pedestrian at best, with a few dishes being almost inedible. The chicory risotto, for example, was awful at dinner, and they then recycled it into fried risotto balls for lunch the next day…not an improvement. Most dishes were either over- or under-seasoned, and there just seemed to be no passion in the kitchen. There’s just too much phenomenal Tuscan food to waste a meal dining here. Look elsewhere.

Really unique property situated around a beautiful landscape. The staff was friendly and helpful and we had an amazing time! The chef onsite was fantastic and we ate all of our meals at the property!

Soggiornato diversi giorni con bimba di 8 mesi e 2 cani di piccola taglia. La struttura è incantevole, immersa nella natura dove si respira un a**osfera di altri tempi. Tutto e curato nei minimi termini con una piscina a sfioro con vista vallata eccezionale. È il luogo ideale per trascorrere giorni in totale relax; ma il vero plus di questo realis è il personale. Siamo stati accolti in modo eccezionale da Kim, una ragazza gentilissima. Il servizio è impeccabile, sono stati tutti super carini e disponibile con ns figlia neonata che aveva diverse esigenze di “pappine e verdure” da preparare. La cuoca Sara, è stata sempre disponibile a cucinarla rispettando tutte le ns indicazioni, ancora grazie… Avendo mangiato la sera sempre al ristorante possiamo dire che i piatti sono preparati con cura con tutti prodotti a Km 0 e tutti buonissimi accompagnati da vini eccellenti. Grazie anche al maitre di sala Maria che ci ha consigliato sempre degli ottimi abbinamenti. Se ci fossero più di 5 stella da dare nella recinzione le meriterebbero tutte. Consigliamo vivamente di provare almeno una volta quest angolo di paradiso!!!

Siamo stati qui in coppia per un anniversario, Ottima l accoglienza, bellissima la struttura.Le Camere sono ben curate nei dettagli e ottima la pulizia. La cena degustazione favolosa , e il servizio all altezza delle aspettative. Ambiente confortevole e rilassante. Sicuramente ci torneremo .

Esperienza unica, posto incantevole......ho regalato una notte in questo relais al mio compagno e ne sono rimastq estasiata.... Location immersa nel verde tra le colline del chianti , struttura molto elegante e ben curata, personale gentilissimo e disponibile, giardino d'inverno dove si cena meraviglioso, illuminato da candele con un a**osfera super romantica .... Cena e vino top... Il menu' e' fisso e comprende 4 portate tutte buonissime ed abbondanti ... Must della struttura, le camere, dotate di Jacuzzi e camino ....insomma, il vero week and romantico!!!! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente! Se volete stupire con un regalo che lascia veramente a bocca aperta chi lo riceve..... Questa e' senza dubbio la location giusta!
