The rugged site is remote, reached by five miles of tortuous, hair-pin bends along poor roads. It stretches over a sloping hillside with rough paths and steps linking mobiles, many of which look out directly onto a forest of mountain ash trees. It in no way merits what English visitors would consider glamping. The grocery store is small and expensive (particularly for wine) with the closest large (and excellent) supermarket 30 minutes drive away. Food at the restaurant/pizzeria is fairly basic, but it has a pleasant location, and two log fires and a big sofa that brightened a dull evening. Radda in Chianti and Greve in Chianti are worth visiting but avoid the extremely rough unmade northern route to the latter. Florence, Sienna, Arezzo and San Gimignano are further, all about an hour away. The site would probably best suit young people, who love the outdoor life, but due to fire restrictions and the rough terrain, there are no barbecues or proper footpaths beyond the site. It is totally unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems.

Note: normally I do not write a review but after experiencing 10 nights here, I would like to warn fellow TripAdvisors. The 'glamping' is located on top of an oak tree filled hill in the beautiful Chianti area. However, the 'glamping' felt more like a survival. The glamping tents are under accommodated, not quality-checked by the staff and hence full of wild life: As guests, we had to find out a hornet nest about the size of a football was present in our glamping tent. When ultimately confronting the staff with the issue they proposed to let us pay the €60 cleaning costs of another tent in order to be transferred. The sleeping facilities are not well fit for nature. There are no mosquito nets available, leading to poor sleep quality for all guests. This is well visible at the pool, where everyone is full of mosquito-bites. The beds are not well built, having loose supporting. With all the above mentioned items I'm wondering if the owners ever camped here themselves. The focus of earning money is ruining the holiday experience: a few extra examples of the many. 1) the capacity of the camping does not stroke with the accomodation-capacity (too small swimming pool area, too small playground area). 2) The playground is not safely built and maintained. The different equipment are located too close to one another and no fall protection / shock dampening mats are foreseen. We've seen a lot of kids fall upon tree-roots and even big rocks. 3) The drinks in the bar consist of 60% ice. 4) the parking lot is too small for the current capacity, leading to people parking their cars in the resort, even up till the playground area. In summary, since during summer time the camping is fully booked, the glamping resort strategy is to make as much profit as possible, while minimizing staff and maintenance costs and overloading existing facilities.

As per previous reviews - this is a VERY large campsite and much be packed during the busy summer period - we were there after the schools had gone back, so much quieter. Staff were helpful and friendly - pitch was a decent size with power and water close by. On the minus side - it was 100% gravel, so you need a very decent groundsheet or you will get holes in your tent - restaurant was fine - pizzas were decent and service was quick. We used it as a base for the L'Eroica cycling event, and it was fine for our purpose.

We booked for 2N3D stay too bad the weather wasn’t on our side. We requested for a house that is quite isolated but near to pool area since we are with two small kids. When we arrived at the reception, everything went fast because i’ve checkin online prior to our arrival. We were sent to a mobile house which was very far from the pool area (very opposite to what we have requested) . we went back at the reception to ask if they can give us another accomodation, they sent us again to check another house but like the first one, it’s too excluded and not very much kid friendly because of big rockw and PVC tubes scattered everywhere. We had to go back 4x, to ask them if they could find us an accomdation that suits us best. After a quite long discussion and bargaining, they finally took us to a more spacious, isolated and very much near to the pool area lodging. We occupied the Bungalow Panorama. It has two bedrooms and one toilet and a little kitchen. the place is beautiful and Cozy, Clean and complete with stuffs for cooking and the basic necessities like extra towels/blankets. the only problem that we had were the ants. The ants were all over the place,more particularly in the bedroom and inside the bath. the restaurant was all packed when we arrived. we had to wait for an hour before they were able to accommodate us. i honestly do not recommend to eat there because of its pricey and quite “boring” menu. their aglio e olio tasted really strange. The staffs though were been accommodating to our needs. the pool area is not so big but clean and i think perfect for families like us with kids, but too bad the weather was so cold that time and we were not able to stay longer in the water. The place has a mini market that has a only few selections of items to offer. there are two mini ponies that the kids can freely admire and caress at the playground though if you come with little kids, you have to be very extra careful because of the big roots and big rocks scattered around. My son stumbled twice… Maybe we could’ve fun more if it wasn’t raining on those three days of our stay.

Siamo stati ospiti della meravigliosa struttura Orlando in Glamping della proprietà olandese e alcuni soci locali dal 11 al 13 Ottobre, prima della chiusura estiva, per due notti e 3 giorni da far vivere a nostra figlia un avventura incredibile, e così è stato. Già la location parla da sé, qui dove tantissimi anni fa sorgeva un camping è stata creata questa splendida struttura che fa da portavoce alla natura. Veniamo ricevuti alla reception da personale molto preparato, sorridente e disponibile nonostante fossero gli ultimi giorni. Veniamo portati nella splendida tenda con una golf car e da qui inizia l avventura. Come dicevo il posto è stupendo le tende alcune un po' troppe vicine ad altre ma immerse nella natura. Il complesso offre tantissimi servizi, dal Market, al ristorante alle diverse piscine, all animazione gestita in maniera ottima. Torneremo sicuramente

Ottimo soggiorno per stare in famiglia a contatto con la natura in assoluto relax.Abbiamo soggiornato in un cottege ben pulito e funzionale. La notte l area e' molto tranquilla e la qualità del sonno è davvero buona . Il personale disponibile e alla mano .Da migliorare il minimarket perché un po' troppo piccolino e poco fornito.Animazione buona, molto carina l area bambini per guidare le jeep , il percorso e' molto carino e realistico.Torneremo sicuramente.

Ga hier niet heen als je niet tegen insecten kan. Wespen, beien, vliegen, muggen en veel horzels vliegen continue om je oren en blijven om je heen hangen. Ze gaan de clamping in en je slaapkamer (terwijl alles dicht zit; vind dit toch erg vreemd!) Na 2 nachten zijn wij vertrokken. We hadden eigenlijk voor een week geboekt. We hebben overlegd met personeel, konden wat anders krijgen maar dan konden we het bedrag nog een keer uitgeven wat we al hadden uitgegeven. (De volgende dag kom je weer het zelfde personeel tegen en ze vragen niet heel even hoe het nu gaat. Wel bij zeggend; dat ze de gasten graag blij willen maken. Hier is uiteindelijk niks van te merken!) Prijzen in het restaurant is zijn aan de dure kant. Sanitair is wel netjes en zwembad is erg leuk voor kinderen!

Voor het 3e jaar op rij eindigen wij onze vakantie op deze camping/ glamping. Beoordeling van onze 9 en 10 jarige dochters: 5 sterren mam! Onze kids vinden het hier geweldig, al is de animatie meer op jongere kinderen gericht en doen onze kinderen hier niet meer aan mee. Allereerst zeer vriendelijk ontvangst! We kregen een upgrade volgens mij van caravan Clássic naar next. Deze is net zo klein maar super schoon net als de classic. Alleen net alles wat moderner. 24m2 is echt klein en je spullen kan je bijna niet kwijt ( en wij hebben alleen handbagage omdat we vliegen) Sinds 2 jaar krijg je 8 uur per dag airco op een kaart. Dit is te weinig bij 38 graden buiten. Dat zou wel naar 10/12 uur mogen. Je kan dit wel bijkopen. De technische dienst is onwijs goed. Onze deuren sloten niet goed, kwamen ze binnen een uur langs. Dag daarna lekte de koelkast, zelfde middag stonden ze er weer. Ook van andere gezinnen hoorden we dat zij zo’n goede ervaring hadden. Restaurant was altijd zeer goed. Dat wordt nu minder maar nog steeds prima voor een camping. Eten kwam alle dagen zeer snel, alle avonden binnen 10 minuten en niet altijd tegelijk. Even iets langer zitten had van ons ook wel gemogen.. bediening is zeer vriendelijk. Het zwembad, is druk. Te druk eigenlijk ook al vonden onze dochters het prima. Om 10:00 al een rij om binnen te komen. Bedjes zoeken kan echt of om 10:00 of na 16:30 tussendoor is dat lastig. Advies, zorg voor nog een groot groepenbad met ligweide en tot die tijd verruim de openingstijden naar 8:00/9:00 tot 20:00/21:00. Nu word je om 18:30 al bijna t zwembad uitgekeken en om 18:55 moet je t bad uit. Het is al zo druk! Verruim die tijden dan. En het animatieteam ook voor ouderen kids interessant maken. Nu is het voor onze dochters 9 en 10 dus niet meer leuk. Of dit moet niet meer de doelgroep zijn, dat kan ook. Verder prima verblijf zeker met jongeren kinderen is het hier leuk maar verwacht geen luxe caravan met lekker bed ☺️

Heerlijk om weer hier te zijn. Maar helaas is het restaurant er niet op vooruit gegaan. 20.45 uur tafeltje, half uur wachten op bestelling drinken en eten. Pas 20 minuten daarna kwam het drinken en direct een deel van het eten. De pizza bleef weg en kwam pas toen de rest klaar was met eten. Kwaliteit was ook minder dan jaren ervoor. Jammer.

Prima volta in un glamping e ci siamo trovati benissimo. Abbiamo soggiornato i primi di luglio e non era super affollato. Personale gentile e disponibile, sistemazione orlando XL perfetta vicina a tutti i servizi, piscine top, cibo molto buono, animazione perfetta ( soprattutto per bimbi tra 3/6 anni ), parco giochi molto carino, tutto ombreggiato. Vacanza perfetta per una bimba di 3 anni con un neonato a seguito.

Siamo stati una settimana a fine Luglio e ci possiamo ritenere soddisfatti del soggiorno a parte alcuni punti da rivedere sicuramente. Affollamento piscine esagerato in alcuni momenti e scarsissimi controlli da parte dei bagnini su persone che possono avere comportamenti che disturbano eccessivamente chi vorrebbe la tranquillità che il posto promette,per esempio vi è’ una vasca Jacuzzi che sarebbe da vietare ai bambini che la utilizzano come una piscinetta con tanto di tuffi e immersioni,non esiste una roba del genere,per i bambini vi sono altri spazi. Connessione WiFi scarsissima anche in zone dove viene promessa come “garantita”che unita alla poca ricezione dei cellulari fa in modo di essere in molti casi isolati,al giorno d’oggi sia per motivi di lavoro ma non solo non è’ accettabile. Alloggi Classic lodge che non sono assolutamente adatti a 5 persone ma massimo a 3,assenza di bidet.. Da valutare che gli avventori del camping sono per l’80/90% olandesi,se si hanno bambini le possibilità di interazione con altri bambini sono azzerate per ovvi motivi

Buongiorno, sono ancora ospite ma devo dirvi che pur avendo una bellissima struttura , non sono affatto soddisfatta della pulizia e dell’alloggio. Arrivata 2 gg fa ho trovato una finestra che non si chiudeva, lecca lecca dentro la cassetta di sicurezza (senza batterie e quindi non utilizzabile), lo stendino completamente sfondato. Se pur il personale è arrivato velocemente, lo stendino portato era completamente sporco. La sera stessa mi sono accorta che anche in altra finestra non può chiudersi, che manca lo scopino nel bagno, che manca l’ugello dell’acqua in cucina e che ci sono peli sulla finestra del bagno… Peccato perché la struttura merita.

Il campeggio tenderebbe ad un 10, ma si accontenta di un 6. Le aree comuni centrali sono ben curate, la zona piscina, minimarket e ristorante risultano pulite e con personale disponibile a rispondere ad ogni esigenza. Il camping è grande e colmo di sistemazioni, ma non si crea affollamento. Le casette sono perfettamente integrate nel paesaggio e ci sono vari giochi per bambini in vari punti. Il cibo del ristorante è ottimo e servito in fretta. Il personale gentile e disponibile. I prezzi del bar trovo siano un pò alti. Le noti dolenti che mi fanno dare un "6" sono: -la casa mobile in cui eravamo aveva un ampio patio fuori, ma completamente pieno di ragnatele (mai pulite nonostante sia stato richiesto più volte). -all'interno pieno di ragni, se avessi voluto stare così a contatto con la natura avrei sicuramente scelto una tenda che mi sarebbe costata meno e avrebbe avuto spazi più grandi per muoversi. -la casetta è fornita con svariati elettrodomestici, ma la lavastoglie non funzionava bene (si bloccava a metà lavaggio con ogni programma) e le stoviglie erano tutte sporche al nostro arrivo. Ho dovuto rilavare a mano tutto. -Sulle finestre non ci sono zanzariere, tranne che su quattro piccine: una in bagno, una in cucina e una nelle camera. (non sufficienri per areare la casetta) Una di queste al nostro arrivo era rotta. In un bosco direi che è un requisito base avere le zanzariere ovunque in quanto il bungalow diventa un forno se non si possono aprire le enormi porte finestre responsabili del clima all'interno ed è necessario utilizzare il climatizzatore con conseguente dispendio energetico inutile. -abbiamo fatto presente di aver avuto problemi di pulizia, siamo stati chiamati subito per una pulizia aggiuntiva gratis. Avevo dato l'autorizzazione ad entrare nella casetta durante la nostra assenza. Quando siamo tornati le pulizie non erano state fatte e inoltre abbiamo trovato la porta APERTA (era stata solo aggiustata la zanzariera). - Una delle porte scorrevoli rimaneva semi aperta e abbiamo dovuto arrangiarci per evitare che entrassero all'interno degli insetti. Fatto presente alla reception non è mai stato mandato il manutentore. -Le foto sul sito sono fuorvianti. Viene proposto una casa mobile "XL Panorama" dove si vede che c'è un affaccio su un lago. NESSUNA DELLE SOLUZIONI HA UNA VISTA DI QUEL GENERE. Ho girato tutto il gampling e non vi è corrispondenza. Abbiamo passato degli splendidi giorni nel Chianti, anche all'interno del campeggio, però con una soluzione a quel prezzo bisogna garantire ciò che si offre.

Glamping? Voor ons zeker niet! Onze 'luxe' tent was smerig, zal vol meren, was kapot, sloot niet goed af en zo kan ik nog even doorgaan. Klacht direct gemeld en wat ik te horen kreeg was dat we konden verplaatsen naar een andere tent maar dan wel 160€ moesten bijbetalen. Dit terwijl de tent waar we heen konden via een andere aanbieder goedkoper was. Veel frustratie heeft Orlando ons opgeleverd! Geen vakantiegevoel.
