1st class act that clearly demonstrated they have it all together... the welcome, personnel, room, facility and breakfast! A pleasure to find such an inn so far from home... ps The Brothers 2 Restaurant which was was quite good is right next door.

Booked it for my vacation for 1 night and found the room with a foul smell on check in. Declined check in and asked for a refund. Staff was good enough to offer free cancellation and then I move to other hotel. It’s more like a motel than hotel. Better not to book it as it’s not a quality inn hotel, it’s garden of the gulf hotel converted to quality inn.

Outstanding hotel, excellent staff, great set up. Stayed here with a hockey team and hotel was packed with other hockey teams. Teams had rooms together, code of conduct very clear, teams also each had an assigned area to socialize, and to keep the chaos contained. Outside of these areas it was quiet and kids were able to sleep before important games. Breakfast good. Because of the way this hotel was expanded in the past, the central corridor is bright and has a real resort feel.

Cleaning is not a priority at this property! Checked in and noticed that our washroom had been clean and our room had not been vacuum. Figured we give them a chance. Visited the front desk and asked that it been done properly the next day. Front desk Clerk was excellent and apologized, committed to resolving the situation the following day. The next day, we were gone all day, when we arrived back around supper time, the room was in the same state. Housekeeping had simply emptied the garbage and replaced the towels. Visited the front desk again and was told that nothing could be done. Poor to limited cleaning available at this property, be advised!

The hotel is definitely outdated, but there are not other choices in Summerside. If you are here for a business trip, beware. Kids from sport teams will be running up and down the halls screaming, and no one cares. The parents are just as loud.

Stayed for 1 night while in town for an event. First part of stay was very pleasant and then it went downhill: -Checkin was very quick and efficient. The gentlemen was knowledeable and I was all set in about 30 seconds. Told me all I needed to know. -My room looked to have been recently renovated. Huge TV on the wall and very comfy beds and pillows. Was super happy with the room! --Unfortunately, the bathroom in the room was not clean. It's like it was partially done. The tissue box was empty, there was no toilet paper (had to go ask for some), there was hair all over the floor and toothpaste still in the sink. Spots all over the mirror. Was pretty gross. I did mention it at the desk when I got the TP but they were indifferent (was not the same person that checked me in; was later in the evening). -Had a great sleep. Quiet and dark. Then at about 7am, was startled awake with thumping and A LOT of noise. I looked out the door and they were removing mattresses and boxsprings from rooms above us on the second level. Dropping them from the second level down to the first right in front of my room. There was a huge crewof guys there. I'm happy they are renovating, but nothing was mentioned to me and it was super loud very early in the morning. It disrupted our stay. We got ready and left. I was going to mention it at front desk on my way out but the guy was on the phone (the same nice person who checked me in), so I dropped the keys and left. I know it wasn't his fault. I do appreciate the room and bed, but you need to keep bathrooms clean and let customers know if there were be renovations happening! Very frustrating.

There isn't a lot to do in Summersville, but if you do go then stay here. The hotel is converted from a motor lodge and the downstairs interior has been decorated to look like a street with trees and lights. It's unusual and beautiful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good with lots of options. It is right across the street from the Piper's school where there are many shows and concerts. The front desk staff are rightfully proud of their hotel and are friendly and welcoming.

Lousy room required to cross parking lot and road to get to motel services, water bad coffee worse, loud party outside our rooms, no wifi in room had to sit outside in hot sun and mosquitoes to access and had to dress warm in evening to sit outside in more mosquitoes had to give one star wasn’t allowed to give less, poolside bar not open
