Excellent location, gorgeous scenery, charming area. Rounded by fabulous restaurants. Our room (# 60) was outstanding with the best views of the whole area. The views to Duoro River and Dom Luis I Bridge are outstanding. Highly recommended

Stayed for 2 nights at the highest floor. Room is already big enough for a solo trip. Staff are friendly and are always willing to give advice for the trip. Nice view from the room. Excellent location! You can enjoy the music at night and take the cruise close to hotel. There are many restaurants nearby but better book your dinner. Restaurants are always full at night. The only drawback is that only taxi can arrive near the riverbank. So you may need to plan to book a taxi before your arrival

Although we had a little difficulty finding the hotel initially because the signage is discreet, we arrived for a 3 night stay & greeted by a lovely friendly receptionist who offered suggestions about getting around. Our room has two door windows facing the river infact three if you count the bathroom, each with a Juliette balcony. The room is a good size, clean with a comfy bed. The bathroom is fabulous with a powerful shower, hairdryer & decent liquid soaps & body lotion. Moreover the room is serviced everyday. The whole experience is exceptional for a 3* hotel. Although we didn't breakfast is available on the second floor accessed by the lift. There is a ramp to the main door allowing easy access. Finally, the reception staff have been so friendly & helpful throughout.

Excellent location in front of the Ribeira with amazing views. The staff was very attentive. Highly recommended. Surrounded by excellent restaurants and bars. Our room was # 60 at the top of the hotel. The view from the room was breathtaking

Great hotel location perfect, close to everything. Nice rooms very clean,easy access to everywhere ,great restaurants near by.breakfast optional and good choice. Friendly staff,ideal if limited to walking as everything close

Wonderful location by the river adjacent to a lively square, which has to be cleared by 11pm! Great atmosphere with casual drinking, and some lovely eating, options very close by. Staff in the hotel most helpful on all aspects especially eating options and taxi booking.

I made our reservation directly with the hotel on Nov 30, nearly 4 months in advance. I requested the room I had the last visit a few years ago. We arrived prior to the normal check in time. When we did so, the receptionists were not friendly, would not tell me if the room I wanted would be available, and were even hesitant to let us use the bathroom (which they had to discuss first). They did check our bags and off we went for an afternoon of touring, returning to the hotel around 6 pm. When we got back and checked in, we found our room was not the one requested....it was a very small room in the back of the hotel with the worst views. When I went down to complain I was told nothing could be done because the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I asked how it was possible that someone who was a returning guest who made a reservation 4 months ago could get the "last room available" and why my request was not honored. All I got was "I'm sorry, nothing can be done, and beside the room I wanted was a different category." I asked why no one from the hotel told me that in advance or even the day of check in. No answer received. Our category was a "superior twin room." I guess my thought of superior does not match the tiny room with barely enough distance between the bed and wall to get around. As for amenities, there are none except for breakfast. While the website shows a lovely breakfast buffet (which they used to have), now you have to order your breakfast online the day before for a specific time slot. We had some amazing breakfasts in the hotels in Lisbon and other cities; the breakfast here was not very appetizing. The only plus was on the morning of check out the substitute night clerk was totally responsive in getting our taxi to the airport. I won't stay here again.

Hotel was excellent. In the centre of all the action, overlooking the square and the Ponte Luis bridge. Prices surprisingly very reasonable for a prime location; no wonder they are almost fully booked throughout the summer. Room OK for a single occupant, bed/s very comfy, clean and modern bathroom. Though towels had seen better days. Staff are multi-lingual, professional yet very friendly and helpful, and from the breakfast room staff to the receptionists, they were first class. Obrigado.

It was a decent hotel and price. The area is quite busy during the day. Overall a good stay.
