When first checking into the room, it still had a messy bed, trash in the trash cans, and wet towels on the floor showing that room service had not come to clean them. When given another room, there was no hot water the following morning, when i called the front desk they said "oh yeah, we're having plumbing issues. It should work soon" real nonchalantly. They should have let all the guest staying in the hotel know that what was going on. It also caused me to be late to a meeting I has scheduled waiting for hot water and not being able to wait any longer, had to leave without getting to shower. Two days later, the same issue happened again but this time when calling the front desk, it was because two of the pipes had froze due to the weather. Now, no one can control the weather but with the location of the hotel and knowing that it can get as cold as it gets there in Portland, the facility should be ready for instances such as these on top giving the guest at the hotel a call to let them know what is going on, which i did not receive. Also, not one day did I have any room service come to clean the room. There is a flyer in the room that stated if I wanted to keep the towels I was using to hang them up and all the towels on the floor would be picked up by room service. Towels, trash, nor the bed was services while there.
