The best what you can get for the money you pay. No complaints. Great deal. A lot of space, two large balconies.

Lovely hotel, room was clean and had all amenities we needed. Large balcony as well. The reception is only open 9-5 which is fine for us but if you check in outside of these hours it looks complicated. There was a €200 security deposit on arrival. They pay this back when you leave. It's important that if you leave outside of reception hours, you go to reception the day before to collect your refund. The bed was not good, the only thing I could fault really. It was rock solid and just like sleeping on the floor. Overall it was a nice hotel, I would stay again. The cleaner didn't come while we were there but that could have been because we spent mornings in the room. They advertised once a week cleaning which I'm sure is true. We ended up having to buy toilet paper as when we ran out, reception was closed. Everything nearby is a 10-15 min walk or a £3.15 taxi. Great place

Good overall hotel, 1 bedroom and a kitchen/diner. We used it as a base to explore the area. Clean and friendly. Happy to use again. Kitchen is pretty well stocked, microwave 2 halogen stove, kettle, toaster and a really small TV. I would go back...

Initially I was a bit wary about this hotel due to all the other negative reviews, however it seems all the negative reviews have came from people wanting something for nothing. We booked this hotel in December for a long weekend/ cheap getaway, you get what you pay for. For the price we weren’t expecting much and that what we received, a very basic hotel, bed, bathroom, living/ kitchen area. All areas of the apartment were very clean, the bed weren’t the comfiest, however, they were more than suitable. This hotel is marketed as more self catering apartments, therefore, there is no maid service unless requested and also involves a fee if I remember correctly. The location of this accommodation was very central to all local amenities. Some reviews mentioned a traveller camp across the road, I didn’t even notice this camp until the last day and it was only because I saw some washing hanging on a line, there was no noise from the camp. You get what you pay for this is a very basic but clean apartment, if you are looking for 5* pay more, if you just want somewhere clean to rest your head whilst you explore the area this is perfect.

W9ukd advise against booking these apartments. Room 605 smashed patio doors...fridge very dirty...mould on.bathroom ceiling...cooker not cleaned microwave extremely dirty and the list went on asked reception to change apartments to be told there were no other apartments available contacted holiday company took 5 days to get another apartment...staff were friendly though then there was the Portuguese campsite across the road whom were urinating under the lamp post just outside the hotel and the arguing and fighting and smokey fires lite during the day and Driving lorry School using the corner for HGV training...no bars or restaurants close to hand ...

Apartment block about half way between Portimao and Rocha. Good points: staff, decent kitchen in room, tv good, Big balcony but mine had no sun all day. Bad points: no shops or bars or restaurants close by. Bath ran cold quickly. Unreliable entry system into room. Bed average comfort, some construction work nearby but not so bad noise wise. €200 ‘deposit’ taken for breakages. Over the top. I would say that if you get the studio apartment for around £26 or less it is good value. The hotel wanted to charge me over £55 so booked cheaper online at reception.

Stayed here for 2 weeks over Christmas. Was a good base. Quiet. You have to pay a security deposit, but is refundable. Must go the day before if you leave outside of reception hours. Room cleaned once a week. It’s not the Ritz. But does the job. Staff are great

Can’t believe the negative reviews on here I had a first floor apartment very spacious and well equipped and spotlessly clean it was amazing value for the money I think people need to put things in perspective if you want 5 star pay 5 star prices portimoa and the beaches are beautiful definitely plan to return 👍

The reception is clean and the staff welcoming and very happy to tell you all about the area. We had a second floor room which was clean with nice thick towels and plenty of hot water. The bed was rather lumpy as you could feel the springs, the pillows left a lot to be desired as they were little bits of foam in a case - not very comfortable. The kitchen area was ok with microwave, fridge, toaster and hob top plus all necessary utensils, there is a coffee machine but no instructions for use hence we had no idea what pods it took. We did not use the pool but it could be seen from the balcony and it looked clean, there were a few sun beds and chairs. It's a 20 minute walk to the beach and, in a different direction, the same time to the harbour; 5-8 minutes to the supermarkets (Lidl etc). The worst thing was the noise! Cockerels crowing during the day and night as there was quite a lot of street lighting and also dogs barking mostly during the evening. There was also the local lorry driving school who used the car park to teach reversing out and up hill - constant 'reversing beeps' from 7.30am in the morning to well after 5.30pm. A very short walk from the hotel is a fabulous restaurant called Bamboo - I would recommend a visit here any day but beware it is very popular so they sell out quickly! There is a 200 euro 'breakage' depost required on arrival, so make sure you have enough to cover this, mine was paid back as we checked out with no problem.
