Fantastic and Great Review of Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius Pending review After two years we have come back at the hotel on all inclusive basis for two nights dated 28.04-30.04. We have a very nice, great, fantastic, memorable moments on our two nights stay at the Maritim Resort and Spa hotel dated 28.04.23-30.04.23 We have a good customer service, good atmosphere, very nice, helpful staffs in reception, restaurants (breakfast, lunch and diner),Bar pool,Flower Spa and the Deluxe Room plus with twin beds with the nice view from our balcony. This was one of the best experiences ever. The resort is beautiful and so much to do, you do not even need to leave. The rooms is very comfortable and spacious and pretty. The food is a lot to pick from and a added bonus you can eat at the beach restaurant. The beach bar I can not thank you enough, so friendly and up for new cocktail. The steak at beach restaurant was the best I ever had and it SA we braai a lot of steak.

Just got home from what has been an unbelievable stay at the Maritim Resort and Spa. What makes this resort so special are the people who work there. Everyone we encountered were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. I have left a separate review for the Maritim Equestrian Centre which are the stables within the resort - I have to mention them again here, because it was Dario (who is the stable manager) and Deepak (who works alongside him) that are the true stars of this resort. They deserve a huge bonus! Their expert advice, amazing equestrian knowledge and experience, plus their obvious love and care for their horses, dogs and other animals made this holiday truly unforgettable. I can’t thank them enough. The other members of staff who deserve a special mention are Sanjeev, Krishna, Dhruv and the lovely Papay by the pool. All went way beyond what is required of them at work and looked after us every day. Everything about this resort is fantastic - but these amazing people are why I have given 5 stars!

Best hotel! The staff are so welcoming. Lots of activities to do, mini golf, horse riding, glass bottom, spa etc. The waterfall is so mesmerizing. Beautiful beach. Also thank you the reception guy who welcomed us since the beginning and chef Kumaren who took care of us, and the guy who is at the suite reserved place on the beach. Totally recommend. Perfect place to take a peaceful break. Thank you

We don’t often return to the same place, but were so glad that we made an exception for the Maritim. The welcome was just as warm and the resort just as magical as before. We enjoyed the glass bottomed boat, kayaking, snorkelling, paddle boarding, walking the dogs and table tennis for free, and had a go on the inflatable, parasailing and tennis for a small fee. We also made good use of borrowing games (nightly Uno competitions in the bar) Snorkelling from the beach was fab, and we saw lion fish, trumpet fish and dolphins from the shore. Staff provided the library as a suitable venue for my daughter’s interview (she got the job and now works for the NHS) All staff were friendly and helpful, but the following deserve special mention. In the Belle Vue buffet, Diya greeted us with Flavio, Alida and Vimla serving. In La Maree, Fabrice and Ishwaree made us welcome at breakfast and lunch and in the quarter deck bar (and pool) Oodaye kept us well supplied with Bamboo Surprises and laughs. Dinestt was keen to introduce us to the flavoured rums and I can recommend the watermelon one. We were glad to see Mithun again and to find out more about the resort and to chat with him. Fingers crossed that we get to see you again.

We had the best experience here from check in to our departure. We arrived really early but were shown to a shower area which we could use. Then we were able to eat and drink with all inclusive from then on. The hotel is in a beautiful setting. The gardens are maintained beautifully.The beach area is steps away from the pool area. Always lots of beds available any time of the day. The room was kept very clean. The staff in every area are exceptionally friendly and will always try to please you. The food in the buffet restaurant always something for everyone. We ate at La Maree one evening and had steaks which were delicious. This was chargeable which was worth it. We also ate in Banyan and the food was gorgeous there too. We tried rum tasting in Anno in beautiful surroundings near the main gates. All of the staff always had a smile on their faces. Sorry we can't remember everyone's names. Nittin the beach bar, Oodaye in Quarter deck bar. Dinsha in the main restaurant. We would definitely return.

I spent a wonderful weekend with my family at Maritim Resort & Spa. Thanks to Mrs Cherina for such a welcoming atmosphere and Mr Deven for making this stay more special with his amazing drinks and good sense of humour. I definitely recommend this hotel.

It’s really hard to write this review as I’ve got serious ‘holiday blues’ This was our 3rd time at the Maritim and it’s was just as amazing as the previous 2! We stayed as a family of 5, in 3 rooms on all inclusive basis. All the staff and I mean ALL are so friendly, helpful, warm and welcoming from the moment we stepped out of the transfer where we were remembered from our previous visits and greeted like family. We had such a smooth check in with Neel who kindly informed us that our room had been upgraded whilst explaining the recent changes and improvements on the resort since our last visit. All the reception, management (Manoi), bar, restaurant, beach, towel/activities kiosk and maid/turndown staff couldn’t have done more to make our stay a perfect one. I want to say a special thank you to Mithun who went out of his way to give us 5 star treatment and personally make sure our restaurant reservations were memorable ones whilst wowing us with his excellent origami skills! Mr Wonderful was wonderful at the towel kiosk always greeting us with a smile whilst cracking jokes! Sorry not to mention everyone by name as there’s too many but praise goes out to each and every staff member. Our rooms had the perfect sea views, the beds super comfy, the mini bar stocked daily, and cleaned perfectly. Food & Drink - “Belle Vue” buffet was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an array of choices which changed theme daily. Up there as one of the best buffet restaurants we’ve been to. “Le Banyan” Asian Fusion Restaurant was really lovely but there was only 1 starter, 1 main and 1 dessert that was part of the all inclusive so be prepared to pay a small supplement on most of the menu. “La Marée Beach Restaurant” is one of our favourites for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Again there are certain things on the menu at lunch and dinner which are not part of AI and a small supplement is charged. You can also order food at lunchtime to your sunbeds which was perfect. “Les Filaos Beach BBQ” is not part of AI but we had a very enjoyable feet in the sand BBQ whilst watching England play in the Euros. We were lucky enough to be gifted this restaurant from the resort which was very much appreciated. “Lakas Kreol Experience” is an intimate experience for up to 10 people situated in a beautiful courtyard setting serving a feast of about 5/6 courses of local delicacies. We have previously enjoyed this restaurant and is not part of the AI but again we were lucky to also be gifted this experience on this visit, would definitely recommend booking. “Anno 1743”, “The Distillery” and “the Nest” are all new additions to the resort and we thoroughly enjoyed being shown around the amazing restaurant and bars and enjoying cocktails on The Nest roof top bar. This is not part of the AI and unfortunately we didn’t get a chance to sample the restaurant as we run out of time as it’s only open Fridays and Saturdays but will definitely be trying on our next visit. “La Maree Be
