Hoposa Daina- Adults Only

We have been there several times before the lock down.and thought we would try it again and we were not disappointed it's has had a lovely revamp but the service has not change its still excellent all staff are so accommodating, breakfast is to die for with such a vast selection, location is great and the pool is special with a covered area at the end for those who do need the sun so much it also has a bar which you can order snacks what more can you ask for,our room was superb with views of the marina and the mountings, can't wait to return

We recently visited this hotel for 7 nights during the middle of September. The Hotel overall... The lounge area, bar and outside terrace are good, although service is at times a little slow. The food we ate around the pool and upon arrival was very good. The breakfast room is amazing and the egg station is a a great addition, lots of choice for a good wholesome breakfast and self service even for coffee and tea which we liked. However the location is the pearl for this hotel, the best place on the front (pine walk), with lots of nice restaurants in easy walking distance and the pool area built out into the sea is fabulous. Having booked superior ocean view rooms on a high floor upon check-in we were given two rooms, one on floor 5 (top floor) and one on the 4th Floor. The good... The views are amazing from the balcony and are unobstructed as they are glass panelled balconies. Our double room on the 4th floor (405) was quite spacious but despite requesting a double bed well ahead of time the beds were two twins pushed together although they were very comfortable! The not so good... The rooms was a little tired with a tiny double wardrobe and 4 drawers for two people to share. The beds upon request on day 2 were joined together to make a very nice large double The cleanliness of the room cleaning was a little inconsistent and at times was not cleaned until late afternoon, once when my partner had to go and get ready the cleaner was in the room so had to wait. The shower was not great either, hardly any pressure and one day we had no hot water at all. The Bad... The room soundproofing is non-existent and unfortunately we had the 2 elephants in the room above (505) that constantly banged around and walked in hard shoes on the wooden floors very late at night, thus disturbing our sleep on several occasions. We even had to call down to reception to complain about all the noise twice!! The gym is very small with no windows or natural light. The pool beds are not very comfortable, despite several towels being used as they have no padding. Something that in this type of hotel should be standard. While we enjoyed our stay I would not rush back to stay at this location in the future, hence my 4 stars as my overall rating when this type of hotel should be a 5 star hotel for the price!

This was our second visit to the Hoposa Daina and we could not recommend it highly enough. We had a balcony view which was superb. The location of this hotel is excellent close to all the amenities. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Nothing seems too much trouble. Christina and her team at reception were very helpful in relation to tours, buses etc. staff at the poolside area kept the whole area clean and tidy. The pool turns into the Lemon Lounge with live music in the evening and the amount of work in setting the place up at night and then turning it round in the morning is not to underestimated. Rooms are well equipped and were well maintained by the Household team. Breakfast was buffet style with loads of choices. The omelletes cooked in front of your were lovely. There is nothing to beat the breakfast view in the morning looking as it does over the bay. Market day is Wednesday in the square behind the hotel. Cultural, also part of the Hoposa Grouo, is a nice place to eat. There were also small market stalls on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday evenings with some unique and quirky wares. Bus station is about 5 mins walk from the hotel and some island tours leave from the Hotel Azul which is about 4 streets way from the hotel. Altogether another wonderful stay in a great hotel. Thanks to all who made our stay exceptional.

Never stayed in this hotel before. Checkin was efficient , reception friendly. Communal areas clean. I didn’t have an issue getting a sun bed, but many reserved beds and didn’t use for the day, towels provided. Pool bar staff happy and friendly, main area staff ok. Food was excellent. My room was spacious and clean, mini fridge prices are overpriced…breakfast location and produce were first class. Beach was closed for 2 days due to ongoing pollution issues… Check out easy, reception not unfriendly but no mention of did you enjoy your stay with us. Would I go again , yes, would I book this specific hotel No

Had a suite in the building across the road from the hotel. Excellent size and facilities. Two single beds in the main bedroom then a separate room with sofa bed. Had basic cooking facilities fridge etc and all newly refurbished. Very comfy beds and good air con. Breakfast was of a high quality and food selection. The hotel staff were all amazing and very helpful. The pool is saltwater and gorgeous temperature. Didn’t get up majorly early and managed to get sunbeds every day somewhere with a bit of moving around etc. however there were clearly people leaving towels for hours on end as with everywhere. Location is amazing with so many restaurant and bar options nearby. My only negative was the noise from the street. Could clearly hear people even though few floors up. And then deliveries and emptying of bins in the middle of the night. But tbh when you are so central that’s to be expected.

Great location in gorgeous Porto Pollenca Rooms were decent size and we opted for room with side view balcony definitely worth it to watch the views of the bay and the goings on Big bonus was the attached hotel guests only pool with sun beds and towels provided and a bar All in the hotel was perfect and in a perfect location
