The cabin was gorgeous. The spa in the window with water views was spectacular although it does take a whole hot water cylinder to fill it up so there wasn’t much left over to top it up as it got cold. The provided soaps and hair products are very nice and have a lovely scent. The bed was comfortable and the pillows lush. The best part to the bed was waking up with the curtains open to an awe inspiring sunrise. Perfect start to the day. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and equipment. The variety of tea and coffee was disappointing as was the fact that we had a coffee plunger but nothing to put in it. I loved the fact that as Vodaphone customers we had only 3G service so we were switched off for the weekend. Access to one streaming service would be good but we weren’t overly fussed. The decorations and supplies that went with the Romance Package were perfect and set the scene for a wonderful weekend away. Will definitely head back soon!!

I find the cabins here well set up for self catering. Winter is a lovely time to visit if you love walking, wildflowers and wildlife, the coastline on the peninsula is spectacular. I found my cabin to be clean and the heating efficient, always enjoy staying here.

We arrived late after reception had closed, but the lovely lady came back up and found us a room. It was lovely, very roomy and comfortable! We found nothing to fault here. The Restaurant in this resort was amazing!! The service staff and the chef’s were fantastic! Food was truly amazing and we left here with such a good feeling about the whole place

It was Cute,,, and clean cabin with bush setting. had a Separate bath and toilet and also a Full kitchen. A Short walk to beach. Bed wasn't the most comfortable. Overall my experience was good. Happy to say that the accommodation were spot on.

Great cabins with a beautiful beach only metres away. We had a great arvo relaxing on the beach and the water was clear and not too cold. The restaurant was amazing with sensational food, friendly service and a great way to spend our “last meal” before heading out on the next morning to the Three Capes hike.

Beggars can't be choosers I suppose. Our brief to our travel agent for our tour around Tasmania was to book us into boutique hotels as far as possible. Stewarts Bay Lodge was the best he could do for our stay at Port Arthur and boutique it certainly isn't. As far as actual accommodation goes our log cabin was fine - a decent bed, a good lounging area, adequate washing and toilet provision. However, the place is clearly geared up for self-catering. The on-site restaurant is under different management and offers dinner on only 4 nights per week. The information provided in the cabin said that breakfast was available there every morning - not true - it was certainly not being served on the Sunday morning while we were staying there (The information pack was also inaccurate in advising that dinner could be booked at another establishment not far away which we discovered hadn't been operating for several months). We did take dinner on site on the Saturday and were not disappointed. The local greasy spoon did for breakfast the next morning and a neighbouring motel for dinner.

Absolutely loved my stay amazing location. Stayed at lodge 25 with views out to the water. Very quiet and peaceful location and right next to the Port Arthur Historical Site. Had a beautiful dinner at the onsite restaurant. The food was amazing Would definitely recommend staying here. The staff were very friendly and attentive Make sure you book an ocean view lodge and watch the sun rise and set over the bay

Stayed in cabin15 with a bay view. Bird life around this bush setting is fabulous. The little beach nearby is a nice morning stroll. Easy bush track to port Arthur historic site. The cabin itself is comfortable and has cooking facilities and fridge freezer, massive brand new microwave. Washing machine and clothes rack. Table and chairs inside and on the veranda overlooking the bay. The restaurant was closed when I was there but I could self cater so no problem. Staff very friendly. Enjoyed my stay. Best sleep as room can completely black out which I like.
