My husband and I came here for our mini moon and had an absolutely wonderful stay. Our room was beautiful - lovely decor, fantastic facilities (iron, mini bar, tea & coffee machine), a very comfy bed and blackout curtains made for a very comfortable sleep. The location in Canford Cliffs is brilliant - it’s 5 minute walk down to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on this coast and also a 2 minute walk into the town. The breakfast is delicious - you can order a hot breakfast off the menu as well as tucking into the breakfast table with delicious pastries, yoghurts, granola etc. We ate breakfast each morning in the beautiful conservatory which was such a lovely start to the day. The staff are so friendly and attentive - special mention for Daniele who seated us for breakfast and was always helpful and welcoming. The outdoor seating area is the perfect place to sit back and relax in the sun with a spritz in hand underneath the pine trees. We had the most amazing week and miss it already - we can’t wait to come back next Summer!

Lovely well equipped room with absolutely everything you could possibly want, really well thought out. Restaurant and pub superb range of drinks and food, staff all friendly and efficient. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had and served personally by the chef. Will be back for sure!

Great hotel and garden which gets packed (so it must be good). Excellent staff. A particular shout out to Zac and Danielo. Both know customer service inside out. The girl waitresses are also on top form and really helpful. We reserved the large gazebo/summerhouse for a 60th birthday which was a super success. Everything closes at 11pm, lights, music off as it is in a residential area. Car parking limited to about 12 places but parking in the street is easy. Rooms well decorated and appointed. All in all a good weekend. Easy access to the beach. Highly recommend.

My son and I came over from Austria to UK for a family event, so I choose the Canford by chance, because our party took place at Compton Acres, and it was just 10 minutes to walk. The hotel is a very lovely building with a beautiful garden, our room was perfect, I liked the early morning coffee very much. Breakfast was excellent. My son prefered the Full English breakfast and Eggs Benedict. And the pub also was a wonderful place to enjoy our dinner or our evening beer. But most of all I appreciated the stuff, they all were very friendly and kind and supported us. They ordered a taxi and gave us a phone charger during our stay or told us the best way to go somewhere... by the way... the beach is not far away... we also went swimming during our stay. All in all we were very happy with The Canford.

I loved this hotel. The staff were all very helpful and there was a great vibe about the place. The gardens were a lovely seating area especially on a warm day as a breeze was blowing. The decor was eclectic with a sea-sidey feel to it without the typical seashells, seagulls and lighthouses you normally find. Couple of minor issues in the bedroom (bit dusty in places) but nothing to warrant knocking off a star! I would really like to stay again.

We stayed in the boutique room for two nights for our wedding. We used the room on the first day to get ready with my five bridesmaids. It was just beautiful. The room is stunning with lots of lovely little extras. The staff are incredibly kind and friendly and will go out of their way to help you. 100% recommend staying here.

The staff couldn’t be more helpful and efficient . The room was super comfy . Just a warning if you like peace and quiet . At the weekend the garden was full of families, I’m not surprised , as if you have children as it’s super. If you are a couple wanting to find a quiet corner, there isn’t one.

We had another great stay for 3 nights for our golf trip. Terry, Zac and the rest of the staff could not have been more helpful and the food and rooms were excellent. Already planning next year’s visit!

Another great stay at the Canford. We love the relaxed feel of this location. Great sized room (no 6) with large comfy bed and good sized bathroom. Spotlessly clean. Has everything you need, free standing bath and large shower. Food was great and love the garden to sit out and have a drink in the nice weather, always has a buzz about the place. Never had any problems finding a space in car park. Staff are all lovely. Plenty to do in the area.Have already booked our next stay.

We call in at the Canford regularly, for morning coffee, lunch, and dinner and we are welcomed by Daniele as though we are good friends. It is such a pleasure to visit the Canford.

Our stay at the Canford was comfortable and caring, from the lady who booked us in on Friday 6/6 and who helped us arrange a short notice lunch for members of our family and our dogs for the following day to the chef on Sunday 8/6 who following a request filleted a piece of fish immaculately. Our dogs were welcomed and given extra treats at breakfast and dinner All the food was delicious and our room very spacious and well appointed. The dogs and us are looking forward to another visit so that we can once again feel cared for, appreciated and valued. Thank you

This place is excellent. The pub, restaurant and hotel areas are all well designed, open and beautifully decorated. The rooms are designed to a very high standard and have some excellent features. Very comfortable bed with an in-room Bath! Plus good food and a great Sunday lunch!! Highly recommended.

Excellent accommodation and food and good value for money. Room had good amenities and better than the much more expensive Pig on the beach where we are now. All the staff without exception were so pleasant. Would not hesitate to return next time we’re around.

My wife and I really enjoyed our 3 night stay at The Canford, the staff were all very polite and pleasant to talk to, our room was perfect for our needs and the food was excellent. A wonderful location from which to explore the local area, beautiful coastline, scenery and beaches. A special mention to Zac who was very helpful after a misunderstanding during our check in procedure (What are the chances of 2 people with the exact same name, checking into the same hotel on the same day) And again after we woke up one morning with no hot water, Zachary and the team to the rescue.
