Cabot Romantic- Adults Only

Lovely hotel in great location. 15 mins walk from the pine walk. View from the sea view rooms is fantastic! I think this hotel has one of the best views in PP as, other hotels are set back a little where the Romantic has views of the entire bay. Food was great! Different selections each evening with starters and desserts also. I would say there is something for everyone. Breakfast was lovely also with a hot and cold selection. Food is subjective to the individual however I have zero complaints. Bar area is very nice and I have to say … the hotel team were all lovely! Couldn’t do enough to help. The pool at the Hobby club is 5 mins walk. We walked slowly and I timed the walk. Always sun beds and rather quiet. It was May however. Not a negatives of the hotel however guests be aware the doors to your rooms slam loudly. Some guests were rather oblivious to this at 2 am! Also be mindful May is cyclist central! The hotel was full to the brim with bikers! Not a negative mainly an observation! Some of them could be rather noisy and again oblivious to people on holiday. As always the minority not the majority! Other than that! Highly recommend! I’d imagine it would be than 3 star if had its own pool! Booked again for next year!

Second visit to the Romantic and it continues to live up to expectations. A great welcome from the receptionist, the food and rooms were very good

It’s clean and a nice aesthetic. Staff friendly. Breakfast good. Bedrooms freshly painted and shower great but mattress memory foam and very soft (caused back pain). Sadly major issue was inability to use balcony as workers addressing “pigeon issues” in adjacent building. Meaning workers outside our bedroom window from first thing (ie noise and lack of privacy). They look to be doing a great job and should make a big difference when it’s complete. The other thing was the hotel was full of middle aged male cyclists so not quite the romantic couples vibe we had expected (some here for Ironman but not all). Appreciate this is very much a cyclist resort though 😊

We have been coming to pollensa for many years, and August 2023 was the first time we had stayed in Hotel Romantic. When we arrived we were greeted and given our room key by a friendly receptionist. We were in room 233 and it had all we needed 😊. There is plenty of storage in the room and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was small as well as the shower but it did the job. The balcony was on the side of the hotel with a side view of the sea which was lovely. The staff were always friendly and always helpful when we had a question. We've just booked to come again at the end of July beginning of August as we were very satisfied and enjoyed our stay.

Stayed 3 nights. Good choice of breakfast but stuck to fruit and cereal on the first morning. The coffee from the machine was dreadful. On the second morning I thought I would try the cooked breakfast. There was none available in the buffet section. The hotel was closing the next day. Stuck to fruit and cereal again and then suddenly a member of staff came out with a plate of beans, tomato, fried egg, scrambled egg, sausage and something resembling bacon. It was truly awful and looked as though it had been left from the day before. I skipped breakfast on the third and final morning. On checking out when I mentioned this the lady told me I should have been offered a choice which would have been freshly made.

Room adequate, beds very comfortable but bathroom layout and design poor meaning shower was too small and shower head too high. Breakfast was terrible, coffee undrinkable, no decaf, and despite great weather we were not allowed to eat outside, which seemed very petty. Also whilst this hasn't affected my review the adults only policy gave the dining area a nursing home feel, and I wouldn't book one again.

Stayed as part of a Jet2 package in early September 2033. The best thing about this hotel is it’s proximity to the beach which is excellent. It’s a good job however because to the surprise of all our party, there was no swimming pool. The one you see on the photos is located at the sister hotel. It’s a 5-10 minute walk away. Not far but not ideal either. The rooms were clean but basic. Good wardrobe space. TV with English channels. Excellent air conditioning unit. Bathroom small, adequate but that’s about it. The view from the balcony was pretty poor. Not somewhere you want to spend any amount of time. The most disappointing part for me. The food I’d say was really good for a 3* hotel. Not the best vegetarian options but this is a holiday resort in Spain after all. Restaurant staff were lovely. The bar service wasn’t great, one of the the waiters was rushed, abrupt, and took offence if you tried to get served at the bar rather than waiting at your table (for who knows how long). We only had drinks in the bar once for this reason. I thought overall the hotel was expensive for what we got. I wouldn’t stay here again. However, Majorca is generally expensive for what it is and this hotel follows the trend. Weather in early September was perfect as it has been before.

This little 3* hotel exceeded our expectations! As we checked in Marco bought us a glass of fizz with a welcoming smile and we were quickly in our room. I requested a top floor room and this was kindly granted, we really liked our room. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. The air con is quiet enough to have on at night which was great as the weather was very hot. We had a side sea view and overlooked the mountains, beautiful! The staff work so hard and we enjoyed having little chats with them. There is a relaxing a**osphere in the hotel and we felt comfortable. We did use the pool a couple of times, which is only 5 mins walk away, this was very clean and plenty of available sunbeds. We took the B & B option and there was a good variety of food for our weeks stay. The croissants are quite possibly the best I’ve tasted! Can recommend the orange smoothie too! Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard, our sheets and towels were regularly changed - thank you Loved the location of Romantic, it’s right opposite a beautiful beach where you can watch the sun rise over the mountains. There are plenty of wonderful restaurants within walking distance and the pine tree walk is buzzing with people. The only reason I didn’t give 5* is the noise coming from doors slamming and we could hear next door talking, t.v, showering, so the rooms aren’t very well sound proofed, which affected our sleep quality a little. However, we highly recommend this friendly hotel and would love to return. Thank you for a lovely holiday

This is a review of two halves . On one hand this hotel looks good the rooms are ok and the bed was comfortable. The shower is tiny and I kept knocking the tap and getting scolded by hot water . The bar and seating area at the front looking onto the beach is fantastic. The barman was a lovely guy . But ! The food is just awful . I like good food and in a resort like this I can’t understand why it is so bad . Taking into account that if you are not a customer and eat in the restaurant at the front they serve completely different food out of the same kitchen . On reflection I would say book elsewhere as there are so many more better places in the same area .
