Returned for another fantastic stay at Hotel Stephanos. Stayed for Eight nights and only wished it could have been longer. Had a superior room which was very spacious and great views where the sun was on the balcony from mid afternoon until sunset. You can sit on the balcony and watch the sun set over the sea. Staying here is like home from home, and you feel like part of the family. Nothing is too much trouble for Maria and Dina. The rooms are cleaned six out of seven days with regular lined and towel changes from the brilliant staff. Breakfast on the veranda can be what you want, from egg (including omelette or scrambled options all cooked fresh). and bacon to traditional greek options. Great place to relax on lovely soft sunbeds and a great pool. Inside a lovely lounge and bar to start your evening with a cocktail or two. Centrally located for restaurants and bars. Large Supermarket just a five minute walk away if you're opting for self catering. Walk to the beach is only twenty minutes away. Also great position to hire a car and explore the Troodos and Akammas mountain ranges . Maria and Dina will ensure your stay will make you return. Check to see if they are offering evening meals, they are delicious.

We had the most fabulous stay here for 11 nights. Beautiful room with excellent views. Cleaned every day to an excellent standard. Family run and they are so kind Maria Dina and the boss ❤️mamma. They can't do enough for you, fantastic, and we will be back next year. Xxx

Run with love and responsibility, this gem of a bnb makes you feel like home. The rooms are clean and tidy and the beds (that can only be described as top rank) will give you one of the best night sleeps of your life! The service is excellent, the staff polite and helpful and the lovely owners' Maria and Dina personal touch, is present In every little detail of this honest establishment.

My husband and I stayed at Stephanos Hotel Apartments for 11 days and we were pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable Maria and Dina made the experience. We were greeted on arrival with cake and we ate breakfast every day in the Hotel, especially enjoying the freshly cooked eggs. The buffet was plentiful with lots of home baked items. My husband and I were upgraded free of charge from a studio to a very spacious one-bed apartment with a superking bed. The hotel is exceptionally well maintained and all the staff we encountered were friendly and accommodating. Despite the hot weather we enjoyed walking around the neighbourhood or travelling on local buses and also spent many hours around the pool where there was no shortage of sunbeds. We ate out each night at one of the numerous local restaurants within a short walk from the hotel and were sorry to go home when the holiday ended. We have stayed in Polis on 12 previou occasions over the years at different accommodation but our visit to The Stephanos was definitely the best.

This was our third visit in two years to this hotel This has to be one of the best kept secrets of Polis. Beds are huge and comfy. New air con units in the bedroom which was very quiet and not expensive The staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble. One of the best value for money breakfasts you can get. Pool area is never over busy and its an easy walk to supermarket/bars and old square

The absolute best family run hotel apartments in the region. We would never stay anywhere else. Maria, Dina and mum Despina are always incredibly helpful and make us always feel a part of the family. For Cypriot hospitality they can’t be beaten. We love them…. And my Greek has improved because of them. See you in September yet again.

The location is okay and quiet. The hosts were very polite and friendly. The room was spacious & clean with a comfortable bed. Also, the breakfast was very delicious with homemade local treats, made by the owners’ mother 😊. Definitely will visit again.

Great hotel close to the middle of Polis with plenty of bars and restaurants 5 minutes walk away. 15-minute walk to the beach, not a lot there as the beach bar is closed. There is an easily 20-minute walk to Latchi. There is a good bus service from Polis to Paphos and a number of other towns for 2 euros. The rooms are cleaned every day except Sunday and the linen and towels every couple of days. The bathroom and kitchen are a bit old-fashioned but everything worked. Would book again.

Polis is 30km north of Paphos and is not what could be considered a holiday resort. It has many restaurants and bards especially around the old town but is 20 - 30 minutes walk down hill to a very pebbley beach. Another 20 minutes along the beach is Latchi, a busier resort but focused on boat trips and restaurants. Basically stay for good food and long walks ( in 30 C temperatures). The bus station is 5 minutes from the Stephanos. Buses are regular and it's only 2 euros to The Baths of Aphrodite, Latchi, or to Paphos (30 km away). There is a bus enquiries at the bus station, very helpful. The Stephanos is run by a family who are very welcoming. The accommodation is adequate but remember though scrupulously clean is only 3*. Our accommodation, Room 223, was spacious, well furnished with good kitchen facilities, one criticism, only one electric socket in the kitchen area so you could plug in the toaster or kettle, not both. There was a distinct shortage of sockets, only one other in the lounge/ dining area, and one in the bedroom. Furniture appeared new, and a new TV in the lounge area though only local station unless you can log into your Netflix or Prime accounts. The Bathroom was outdated but functional, it desperately needs an update with some tiles chipped and an old fashioned hand held showerhead held on a bracket to the wall. The staff ensure it's kept extremely clean, fresh towels as required. The setting is ideal, next door the The Herb Garden restaurant. Would we go again...for the food and restaurants Yes, for the resort No.

Superb service from the owners. We were upgraded rooms before we had checked in and then offered the chance to move to a sea view room the next day, but decided to stay in the pool view as it had the sun in the morning, which meant we could sit in the sun to eat breakfast. Bed was comfortable, bathroom very clean as was rest of room. The hotel is situated about 40mins walk to Polis beach , 6 mins to nearest bar (Costas Corner 3.50 euros for a large beer 610ml), 10 mins to supermarket and next door to the Secret Herb garden and restaurant.

Had a wonderful 2 week stay at the lovely quiet relaxing hotel Stephanos . My wife and I have never slept so well !. The Stephanos is run by two lovely sisters Dina and Maria who look after you like family ❤️ The hotel is a five minute walk from a great choice of restaurants and bars . The old town restaurant and Costas corner worthy of several visits. All in all a super holiday made extra special by Maria and Dina Thanks Steve and Ann x

This was our second year staying at this lovely hotel ... such a tranquil setting with friendly staff and welcoming hosts I am just about to book our stay for next year again ... thank you Maria and family for your hospitality and warm atmosphere always

What a great find this was .The room was clean and tidy with lots of space and cleaned every day along with fresh towels and bed linen. Genuine helpful staff and management who were friendly and accommodating and treated to home made cake thank you Maria for you and your families hospitality
