Bric Hotel & Spa

Absolutely amazing massage and the staff was very welcoming and made sure I had everything. I told him it was my birthday and at the end of my massage they surprised me with a pastry that had a candle in it. Whenever I come back to this area, I would definitely book them again and again.

My husband and I have stayed at the Bric Hotel in Playa del Carmen a few times, and have enjoyed our stays there immensely!!! Perfectly situated very close to 5th Ave, where all the action is (but is not noisy!). It’s perfect for a stop before continuing to a resort in Tulum. They even have a great spa, and I have made use of a great back massage, to get a start on a relaxing vacation. The rooms are nice, as are the beds.

Stay away from this awful hotel! Pros: Great location Cons: rooms weren't cleaned, Bad Wi-fi, Noise, 10 minutes for hot water, Can't hold luggage at checkout for more than 2 hours, awful and indifferent treatment.

The courtyard of the hotel does not look very impressive, but once I got up the stairs to the spa area, I felt transported to another world. I had reserved the "pamper package" for $95 USD. It was two hours of absolute heaven. Gaby was very professional and caring. She listened to what I was hoping for in my massage, extra care for my calves and upper back. The full body scrub was amazing, and all of the ingredients were local and organic. My skin felt better than it has ever felt in my life. The massage was exactly what I hoped for. Gaby really listened. The facial was also amazing, with several treatments and steps that all felt and smelled great. This place has a very chill vibe that keeps you relaxed and happy. It was a little difficult to leave and head back out into the chaos of the city. I will definitely return on my next trip to Playa del Carmen and have already recommended Jacqueline and Gaby at BRIC to all of my friends who might be in the area. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and professional attentiveness were all perfect! And, the price could not be beat! What a great deal and a great experience!

The rooms are very clean and airconditioned. I like the pool area a lot. The location is perfect for shopping in the 5th Ave. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. My wife enjoyed very much the Spa the have. Las habitaciones están muy limpias y tienen aire acondicionado. Me gusta mucho la alberca. La ubicación es perfecta para ir de compras en la 5ª Avenida. El personal es muy amable y servicial. Mi esposa disfrutó mucho del Spa que tienen.

My partner and I had the rekindle ritual for couples. It was a really hot day and this was a nice retreat. The body scrub was really nice and the massage was amazing. The staff was very friendly and treated us to some vegan cheesecake for our anniversary when we were done with our massages. I would definitely recommend this place for a massage while in Playacar.

This is a super small hotel in a GREAT location. We booked one night at th least minute at a great price. Upon check in, I am not sure of his name- but I believe he is the manager, he is so hospitable. He is super friendly- showed us where the water cooler is so you can refill with filtered water as often as needed. It is right off of 5th Ave, but we heard no noise our entire night. We had a lovely time strolling 5th our night there & it was a very short walk back to the hotel. The room was small, but cozy, super clean, well stocked, & the a/c worked great. We did dip our toes in the pool. It is a very lovely quiet area. They even provide towels which is a plus. The platform we booked in indicated breakfast was included, but they did not have anything set up. I believe we may have been the only guests at the hotel. For what we paid- it did not matter to us. We would certainly stay here again as we felt so welcomed & we loved the small lodging feel to it.

This review is for unit 202A. At first look, nice - but when got settled in, realized it was disgusting! See pics. Stained sheets w/ hairs in 2 of the beds, stuff piled in corners and in closets, dirty oven, broken cooktop, hole in sofa. Bed sheet was actually a bed SKIRT. I was shocked based on the reviews. Front door doesn’t even sit right in the frame. Salvador our contact at Bric was very slow to respond to messages and never answered the phone. Good location but very noisy (very near Quinta Ave) so just be aware. I own a travel agency and this was a personal trip. I am SO GLAD this was not clients’ trip - would’ve been a completely unacceptable disaster. I would NOT recommend this unit to someone with high expectations nor stay again.

El hotel es pequeño pero acogedor. Lo mas que nos gustó fue el servicio. Arturo es excelente y Erika tambien. Los cuartos cómodos y la ubicación excelente. Llegas y listo, tienes restaurantes, tiendas, fiesta y tequila solo caminando. Hay ambiente en la Quinta los 7 días de la semana. Gracias por el servicio y las sugerencias.
