I feel hotel should not impose the extra costs for the safe box and tap water during the buffet these are essential services for the guests. This is not fair for all the guests. Another great stay at spring hotel Arona grand in the up!. So much so we had to rebook for September, Antony & Stephanie provide a personal service when we had any issues going above & beyond, Food drink & the cleanliness of the hotel is excellent, We really do enjoy our time in the up! It’s a great experience worth every penny. Thank you again Arona Grand for a lovely stay.

My husband treated me to seven days here for my 40th birthday and upgraded us to the UP with massages included, we booked with Jet2 who did us a good deal. Check in was very quick and we were allocated a room on 6th floor so easy access to the rooftop. Our room was lovely and spotless and the view was amazing! Had 7 nights brilliant sleep because the bed was so comfy. We spent every day on the roof and it was so peaceful and relaxing with views to die for. There were always loads of beds to choose from with freshly folded towels on them. Lots of choice at the bar with premium drinks included in the all inclusive and the food on the roof was always nice and fresh just a little repetitive. Chilled wine and champagne to help yourself too and bottles of beer in the fridge. Everyone was so friendly and we got chatting to some lovely couples of all ages who had been going to Aaron’s Gran for years, some even 20 odd years in a row. Food in the main restaurant was beautiful and so much to choose from! All staff very friendly and attentive. Didn’t watch much of the entertainment as we went out most nights but the couple of nights we watched it was good. Lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance and supermarket straight across the road. Me and my husband had a massage which was great and the spa is so relaxing I could of spent all day in there! We got a 5 course a la carte meal included in our package and it was delicious, highly recommended. We would definitely stay here again and have recommended it to friends, family and colleagues of ours, you will not be disappointed if you stay here!

The Aron Gran sits proudly at the end of the bay in Los Cristianos, meaning it easy to get about. When you enter the hotel, it is a wow with a hugh atrium and chandelier with plants growing down the side of the internal balconies. The reception is just a desk and hard to see but check in is fast and painless. The hotel is very clean. A lot of money has been spent on the outside areas. There are 3 pool areas of varying temperatures from 20 degrees to 35 degrees, the third and warmest containing jacuzzi bubbles and water jets. There is a pool bar and plenty of seating and sun beds. There are no kids here either. Sitting by the pool is a pleasure, and music is only played during aquarobiccs at lunchtime. Pool towels are included in your stay For an extra 60 euros per person, you can use the UP area on the roof. This has free snacks and infinity pools We had a peek but didn't go as it seemed expensive for what it offered. The dining room is buffet style but didn't feel crowded. Food to suit everyone was different daily. The room was the disappoin**ent of the stay. Plastic chirs on the balcony and the decor something from the late 80s. There is a fridge in the room, tea and coffee, safe etc and robe and slippers. The room we stayed in had a sea view but no sun until it was about to set. The paint on the bathroom ceiling was peeling, lino lifting and doors etc generally shabby( see pics) The evening entertainment was similar nightly with some sort of music act rather than a variety. We are probably also the youngest guest here ( 50s)most being in theor late 70s and 80s. There is even a place in the hotel for mobility scooter parking!! Staff are friendly and speak English. There is a gym which iss well equipped. The hotel has a spa by the pools which is quite expensive to book trea**ents but very relaxing. We enjoyed the experience but probably won't be back as it was not a cheap hotel and reallyfailed to deliver that wow factor we expected having read other reviews and we got as we stepped into the hotel lobby on day 1

Love love this Hotel, Just home a week and miss it already, very comfortable hotel, we got an upgrade when we arrived, to a pool view room, on the 2sc floor, lovely touch, pools are brilliant, and staff are amazing. Food is beautiful, and varied, plenty of choice. Only downfalls were the people putting towels on sunbeds and not using them till late afternoon, it is very annoying, we could see them from our balcony, and the lifeguard, does'nt remove them, as said in some replys from the hotel, also we seen at least 3 cockroches on one of the empty shelves in the dining room on the morning of our departure, they were coming from the underneath of the shelf, and we pointed this out to staff, who told us to tell reception, ( not good enough in dining area). Otherwise a brilliant hotel, can't wait to go back.

Just come home after a 2 week stay at the Arona Gran , our second visit to this lovely Hotel. From the moment you walk in, the service is second to none. Lovely friendly staff who are always ready to help. The surroundings are fantastic with lovely rooms, pools and facilities. (Nice to see the pool attendants removing towels from reserved sunbeds). The food was excellent and I think I must have eaten half an ocean of seafood during our stay. The bar prices were reasonable considering the standard of hotel. My only negative would be the evening entertainment. The piano players were excellent, but the other entertainment was at best medocre, and I'm sure this could be improved upon. We will definitely be coming back, and thank you for your hospitality.

Amazing hotel everything clean and comfortable. Cold Water machines on all floors, saving on plastic bottles. Staff are very friendly and can’t do enough for you. Good food, plenty of choices and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables. Plenty of pool room with beaches right on the doorstep.

Having stayed twice prevously at the UP! in the Arona Gran in Sept 22 & July 23 we returned later in the year to celebrate my 50th. The staff at the hotel are amazing from the housekeepers to the bar and resturant staff - special mentions to Narissa and Beatrice in guest relations, Carla in in the resturant and Juan on the bar for making our stay truely amazing and welcoming. The resturant food is varied at both breakfast and evening times and the gala night on a Weds is an additional treat. Already looking forward to returning again July 24.

Perfect hotel! We visited this hotel last year and this was our second visit. A beautiful Hotel in a good location. Within walking distance to beach, promenade, shops , bars. Friendly staff, very large selection of food in buffet restaurant with white tablecloths!
