The Acarsaid - Pitlochry

Big Karen made our visit exceptional, couldn't do enough for us. Went as guests left as friends. Bedrooms lovely, nice and clean. Comfortable bed. Shower amazing. Breakfast second to none, amazing choice. Will definitely visit again. Would recommend it for couples or families.

Room was very comfortable, I like the modern Scottish look. The little extras like tea/coffee making facilities are good but the Tassimo machine was an unexpected bonus. Also the box of Scottish chocolates was a lovely touch. Breakfast were very good with a wide choice of help yourself continental and a selection of cooked breakfasts freshly made to order.

Very comfortable hotel in Pitlochry. The public rooms are very nicely furnished and our room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the breakfast which was well cooked and had a good choice. This was our first visit to this hotel but we will return

Just back from a night in Acarsaid Hotel , absolutely fantastic. Rooms are lovely and warm. Spotlessly clean. Bar area really nice (love the colour it's being painted). The guy front of house (think it's Richard) is so helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Visited Pitlochry for the first time and booked a weekend here. Great location. Hotel is family run and very friendly. Rooms are big with a seating area too. Bed is big and very comfortable and extra pillows in room if needed. Rooms are a bit tired but think they are working on the hotel and it does not impact your stay. Breakfast is lovely and staff can not help you enough. There is a seating area with a lovely coal fire and bar also. If I go back to Pitlochry I would def stay here again.

My boyfriend and I arrived on Saturday 9th of November to be greeted by Big Karen, she was brand new from the minute she started talking. She gave us our key and advised us where to go to get to our room. Once we were settled, we were going back out and again we spoke to Karen before we left to go a walk around. We were out for a few hours and came back to be greeted with Karen again and we ended up sitting in the lounge in front of the fire having a drink and a lovely chat before we headed out for dinner and more drinks. Karen had nothing but compliments for us on our way out which was lovely. Once we came back from our night out, Karen was there again to greet us. Same in the morning when we were going for breakfast. Nothing is too much for her, she holds all the qualities I would expect from a manager and she made the place feel very homely. She's our kind of woman for sure. We're already planning coming back next year to go to the Enchanted Forest and stay over again and we'll be coming back here to stay. Thanks again Karen for making our wee stay so great, for being human and chatting with us and making us feel like part of the place. You're a credit to the place.
