20 km northwest of Varkaus, lake Suontjärvi 25 m (width 0.4 km, length 3.5 km), sandy, shallow children's beach and deeper sand-mud bottom next to the pier, own boat. Log cabin, built in 1991, fully renovated 2016, combined kitchen-livingroom, bedroom (10,5 m²) with double bed, shower/toilet, porch. Upstairs sleeping alcove with 2 beds and shallow "children's room" (room height max. 160 cm) with floor area of 25 m², two beds and a baby cot. Farmhouse Sipilä is a new, breathable log house located in the middle of cultivated fields. For sauna lovers, there has three (3) different saunas. The two-story rental cabin overlooks the evening sun of the Venetekämä lake shore about 250 meters away. Venetekämä is about 4 km long and 1 km wide, hard, shallow sandy bottom, clean water lake in the watershed area, pier and rowing boat on the shore.
