When we arrived at the resort no one was there because it was a Sunday, so the maid let us in. It was bare bones to say the least. The maid gave us 4 bottles of water and a roll of toilet paper. The Wi-Fi was nonexistent in the condo you had to go outside and walk to the lobby to get service. The lobby was full of boxes, and building materials and it appeared it was under construction. The person in the office was not there most of the time if you had a question. I was very disappointed. I found out later that most of the condos were owned and ours was a rental from an owner. The fee we paid was very high after checking out the cost of other rentals in the area. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Admittedly clean, but so SO dated. No Wifi. Minimum facilities (2 mugs , 3 teaspoons and 3 water glasses for up to 4 persons!!) No reception desk to speak to with problems. No one on arrival despite notification of my time 4pm. Pool and all communal ways excellent. However this apartment should not be listed until fully renovated to 2024 standards

I've stayed in several resorts and this one is by far the worst. The taxi had a problem getting there at first, because there is no Chateau Dale Beach Resort. If you risk it, tell the driver it's called Chateau Dale Boutique Resort. Even the security at the gate was confused and sent us away at first, but I decided to ask at the desk. The front desk is never manned. After waiting 10 minutes, someone finally arrived and told me that I was in the right place. She showed me a tablet to select my name of a list of 2 people checking in that day. Not sure if I should see someone else's booking data. The room was a sauna when I arrived, but the air conditioning eventually cooked off the room. The room was adequate, but the eclectic heater barely lasted 2 minutes to keep the water lukewarm. There is no phone in the room and there is only WiFi in the lobby. There is a lounge just off the lobby, which both are open air rooms. A big part of the lobby is under construction as well as the bathroom in the lobby. Apparently the room above me was under construction as well since I would wake up to drilling and hammering early in the morning. I'm writing this on my last night in this place, because I'm sitting in the lobby while getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. I wanted to quickly grab something from the Seven Eleven down the street and left my key in the room. I talked to the security at the gate and they said I had to call a locksmith or wait for the staff to arrive in the morning. It was only midnight, so either I have a long wait while getting bit by mosquitoes or waste even more money on this place. Speaking of price, there are places nicer and cheaper that are even closer to the beach. In my honest opinion, I would avoid this place.
