RRochelle Johnson-BentGreat location and amenities. The staff were always quick and available to answer any questions or provide items needed. The room was clean and had everything we expected. Towels, bed, room and all-around hotel smelled clean. There’s always someone cleaning around the hotel. They also had plenty of staff to address different needs, which is impressive given so many business struggling to keep staff. My only issue was too much chlorine in the pool made it really hard to breathe (maybe they need better air circulation) and it burned everyone’s eyes.
Also, luckily I read the reviews online so I knew to expect the parking fee. But it wasn’t noted on the booking page or website when I looked. But for the rate/deal we got on the room, the parking fee wasn’t a big deal. We came in pretty late each night and was able to find parking, but it was limited so I see what people meant in the reviews. I would definitely stay here again!! Oh and the breakfast was nice and hot and very clean. Plus, lots of options.
Also Outback is right next door, (walk across the lot) for nearby restaurant option.

EEvelyn ChowHotel is conveniently located across Mall of American South Gate and iHop and TGIF Fridays restaurant are both attached to the hotel . It only takes 5 mins to walk over to the mall .
Distance from Msp airport to hotel takes about 15 mins .
Room is relatively clean and simple. Basic needs are met.

TTài khoản khách0 things to do other than swim prior to 10 :00 am on a Saturday which is tough with kids. Pool and rooms are not kid friendly. Thin walls (could hear every word of neighbors convo until midnight), no ledges to set anything in shower.

TTài khoản kháchEverything was excellent: picking up from the airport, checking in process, cleanliness, amenities in room (microwave & fridge, big bottles of shampoo, conditioner, soap), amenities outside room, pool - clean, hot tub, gym, very helpful front desk, breakfast, dropping us off at the airport. You have to try it. It's worth it for its price. We love this place.

I highly recommend the hotel.

TTài khoản kháchVery nice. I was kind of worried before I checked in, since I saw some negative reviews. Even it's not a new hotel, but it clean and quiet, and in a style of late 80s. The stuff was helpful. The gym is not big, but fairly enough for short term stay. You got dumbbells. Only one thing annoying me was the WiFi network is terribly slow.

I waited, called and was told by driver it would be 20 minutes, and waited some more until I decide to take a taxi after about 40-45 minutes more. And speaking with the driver over the phone, he wasn't concerned at all. He even said he was there 20 minutes ago...well, I was not. And after figuring out the proximity of the hotel to the airport, I don't see why it would take more than 20 minutes for a shuttle.
