I was given room 311 which was a little dated but so worth it for the price I paid, RM70. The towels are fresh, soft. Aircon was superb, bed was just right - not too soft that it bends your spine weirdly but soft enough for a good night's sleep. There is a copy of the New Testament in the room, which is so refreshing as I have not seen this in a long time. The location is just a short walk away from Mekong Walking Street. Reception can help you order a minivan to the airport for THB100 only. If you are a solo traveller like me, this hotel is a perfect transit for doing the Thakhek Loop on the other side(Laos). The International Bus Station is about 7 or 8 mins walk away.

R2 hotel has a big room and clean. Staff nice. Food so good and inexpensive. Recommended to stay at the hotel.

At first we thought the rooms would be small but when we go up the rooms are a lot spacious than the picture. It’s brighter, clean and roomy considering the building the hotel is built in. Great place for solo traveller , couple :)

The hotel room was clean, nice and spacious. Breakfast offered with a wide variety of food. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is just perfect for a walk around the city centre.”
