SShelySAmazing place, looks even better than the pictures. The views are amazing, the service is top. It is a little difficult to get to but worth it. The design is so well thought out and includes everything you need. It was so quiet and peaceful, very comfortable and lovely amenities. I made a request for something nice for us and they went all out with beautiful rose decorations. It was so thoughtful and made it extra special. I’d love to return back here.

TTài khoản kháchThe hotel is beautiful, but it's built on a mountainside, so the buildings you need are spread out on a very steep road, so it's not easy to move around it. There are golf buggies that take you from place to place if you call them, but having to ask for a vehicle every time you want to go and eat or leave is quite annoying. The distances are walkable, but not if you have mobility issues. The pavements are also in far worse condition than the roads, so you end up walking on the roads and having to keep jumping out the way of the passing vehicles. Photos are attached of the view of the very steep road going up next to our balcony to show an example of the scale of the steepness.
The location is remote. Apparently taxi apps like Grab and Bolt do not work here, although we did manage to quickly book a Bolt to take us here from Chiang Mai centre. A car and driver can be hired from the hotel for 2500 baht for 4 hours. I wouldn't recommend visiting if you don't have your own vehicle, as there is nothing nearby you can walk to. On check-in, the hotel said they offered room service, but there were no menus in the rooms.
The room cleaning was slow if you are on a higher floor - on our 2 days, they didn't manage to visit all morning despite us leaving the ”please clean room” sign on the door. I found out later that you can ring reception to ask your room to be prioritised.
The restaurant is expensive compared to central Chiang Mai, and they recommend that you reserve a table every night you want to eat there, but the food was good. Service was a bit chaotic. On the night we arrived, at 5:30 pm, reception told us they had reserved a table for us. But when we went to the restaurant, that did not seem to be the case, and we were taken to an unreserved table in a loud and echoey room. I then had to go up and ask to order as no-one came, and then the order was missing items when it did arrive.
Randomly on the grounds near the lobby, there is a parrot in a tiny cage compared to its size with no entertainment, hardly any plants, and barely anywhere to perch. It's really sad to see.

Nhược điểm duy nhất là không có tiện nghi xung quanh sau khi mặt trời lặn. Vì vậy hãy đảm bảo có thêm thức ăn cho những người cần bữa tối. Ngoài ra, hãy chuẩn bị sẵn sàng để sống chung với một số côn trùng hoặc ruồi bay đến từ thiên nhiên.
Chúng tôi thích ngắm nhìn cây xanh và hít thở không khí trong lành tự nhiên, điều mà chúng tôi không thể có được ở thành phố. Một nơi nghỉ ngơi tốt từ cuộc sống thành phố nhộn nhịp.

The journey to the resort itself felt like an adventure — the off-terrain road might be a little wild, but it only added to the excitement and made the arrival even more rewarding.
From the very first moment, we were greeted with an incredibly warm welcome. The staff here are beyond wonderful — always helpful, attentive, and thoughtful, even before our arrival when communication and service were impressively fast.
And then… the view! Just wow. Absolutely worth the drive. It truly feels like a hidden gem tucked away from the chaos of the city. The peace and calm of the surroundings instantly washed away the stress of daily life — such a refreshing escape.
Every detail of our stay was filled with care. From the flawless service throughout to our beautiful evening dinner, everything felt personal and special. It’s rare to find a place that gives both adventure and tranquility in one experience.
The only downside? Having to leave such an amazing place!
I would 100% recommend Chai Cheevit Maesa to anyone looking for something unique, peaceful, and unforgettable. I’m already planning to come back — and next time, I’ll be staying longer!

LLaxnecnhI really loved the service at NJ Homestay. Although the staff may not speak or understand English very well, we managed just fine using Google Translate. Our room’s toilet did give us some trouble during our stay — the water heater wasn’t working at first, and later the toilet had flushing issues, which continued throughout the two nights we were there. That said, I want to give a special shoutout to the staff, who were always patient and helpful, never hesitating to assist us with unclogging the toilet or checking the heater whenever there was a problem. The location isn’t the most convenient since it’s up in the mountains, but having a private driver made a big difference. Breakfast was included and it was great. As for cleanliness, it was acceptable considering the homestay is located in a mountainous area — some bugs are expected, and roosters start crowing as early as 3:30 a.m. Overall, the beautiful views, peaceful atmosphere, fresh air, and friendly staff and locals (Chiang Mai people are generally very warm and welcoming) made the stay worthwhile. I would definitely visit again.

TTài khoản kháchIt's a comfortable resort with sports facilities which we can use for free. Recommend to bring your own equipment. There is a gym room (although dated), two tennis courts, indoor badminton and pickle ball courts, squash courts, a snooker and a pool. We like to swim in the big swimming pool. The room is spotlessly clean. The mattress is too soft for me. The staff is helpful and nice.
The buffet breakfast is simple but delicious. They provide Asian cooked dishes like rice, fried meat with vegetables. Also corn flakes with milk, toast, fruits and vegetable salad.
