Star Hotel Inn Alisa, Muar I had a very pleasant stay at Star Hotel Inn Alisa. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and easy. The room was very clean, well-ventilated, cool, and comfortable, with a warm and homely feeling. The location is very convenient, with many food options nearby. There is a 99 Mini Market right next door, which is very helpful if you forget to bring any personal toiletries or daily necessities. In the evening, the outdoor area is cool and breezy, making it a nice place to sit and relax. At night, the room was quiet and not affected by traffic noise, so I slept very well. Overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Muar, especially for short stays or visiting family.

Booked for the MUO boutique hotel but was given this MUO resort. Was skeptical at first but was surprised at the resort when arrived. It was something unlike the usual hotel as this got more of a kampung style stay. Try to go slow as u reach the entrance bcos u will likely to miss the narrow entrance to the resort. The registration counter is in the cafe (will be better if there is a directional signage). Every room will have a designated parking lot. There are a few ev charger for those driving ev car.

The environment is peaceful and relaxing, located near the sea with fresh air, great for a picnic or just to unwind. The staff were kind and helpful, especially when we had issues with our rooms. The rooms we first received were quite small, and the water stopped running a for a while, but after I reported it, the management quickly changed us to different rooms, which I appreciated. One thing to note is that there’s no on-site restaurant or nearby place to buy food, you’ll need to order online or drive around 10 minutes to get meals. Overall, it’s a nice place for a quiet getaway with friendly service, but the rooms and basic amenities could be improved.

Recently stayed at PPT Muar Hotel and chose their capsule pod. The pod was clean, quiet, and cozy — perfect for a simple yet comfortable night’s rest. The atmosphere was peaceful, allowing me to relax and recharge without disturbance. The hotel also provides ample parking space, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. Overall, it’s a great choice for a budget-friendly and hassle-free stay in Muar.

The location is good. But the shower room *door* cannot open or close😐. It meant u need to open door to take shower. AND the smell from the longkang(drain) very stink like hell. This is not the pleasant trip for me😔

My favorite budget hotel in Muar, a quiet area near to my work place, 5-6.km away from town centre. The Deluxe Double Room was tidy and comfortable, feel like home, I love its small balcony! It was a great experience and absolutely value for money! Free roadside parking available,
