KK T Richard TanI have stayed in Marriott properties in many countries since the early 1980s.
This was my first stay at the Moxy brand of Marriott properties.
When we arrived, the driveway was completely roped off and blocked by two huge construction vehicles and the door into the lobby was also roped off. No alternative was provided to allow us to drop off our heavy bags or even to enter the hotel from the car park.
Having to register my car or risk a £100 fine just to drop off the luggage was not a customer-friendly message. I am aware this applies to other Marriott airport properties in Scotland to deter non-guests from parking. But I am sure with all the brainpower in the Marriott group, a customer-friendly solution can be found.
The towel in my room had holes. Housekeeping staff opened my room door twice. Luckily I was only half naked.
Really lousy breakfast. Dried scrambled eggs. No other egg type offered. Dried bacon. Orange juice tasted quite bad.
The lobby doubled up as the place for breakfast. As a result, food droppings on the floor were quite unsightly.
But I must say the staff were all wonderfully nice, polite and helpful

TTài khoản kháchLocation: Very conveniently located right across a couple of bus stops and also a few steps away from Ocean Terminal tram stop. The Oean Terminal has a few well known brand outlets which we did not visit but if you have nothing else to do, it could be a nice way to spend your time. Also the Royal Britannia Yacht is right there.
Cleanliness and facilities: just as expected from IHG, very clean and also the facilities that we wanted: luggage storage, a simple bar/ restaurant and hot breakfast. Nothing extraordinary but absolutely essential. Note: scrambled eggs could be better.
Service: OK, as expected. We had already sent a note saying we were going to arrive between 1 AM and 1:30 AM, and when we came to the reception around 1:15 AM, they promptly delivered the keys and on the inside of the card was written ”no show”. Which means the reception doing the night shift never saw our note and had already marked us as possible ”no show”. It did not hurt us, but I did not like the fact they never read our note, it shows the impersonal nature of their service. Therefore I deducted one star.
Note: The cranberry tea is a nice selection. It helped my headache. Thanks.

LLesley QianWe had a really great stay here! The room was surprisingly spacious and very well equipped. It even had a microwave and kitchen utensils, which were super convenient for heating food during our stay.
We were actually travelling to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday, and the hotel staff kindly helped decorate the room and prepared some chocolates for us. It was such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made the trip feel even more special. We really appreciated the effort!
The whole experience was very comfortable and enjoyable, and the hotel felt very welcoming. We would definitely come back and stay here again❤️
（The only small downside was a slight smell from the drain in the bathroom, but it was still tolerable and didn’t affect our stay too much.

Họ giao ba chai nước nhỏ mỗi ngày – hai chai không ga và một chai có ga – tất cả đều đựng trong chai thủy tinh với bao bì khá tốt. Họ cũng giao thêm hai chai nước lớn mỗi ba ngày. Nhược điểm: Tôi đặt phòng có ban công, nhưng nó không nằm trong tòa nhà chính. Phòng không lớn lắm, và quan trọng nhất là có cả một bức tường phía sau rèm cửa trước giường không có cửa sổ. Ánh sáng duy nhất chiếu vào qua cửa ban công, khiến phòng khá chật chội. Điều khó chịu nhất là khả năng cách âm kém; tôi có thể nghe thấy người nói chuyện ở phòng bên cạnh, và bất cứ ai đi lại trong hành lang đều có thể nghe thấy mọi thứ rất rõ ràng.

TTài khoản kháchAbsolutely amazing. We arrived very late due to heavy snow- they checked us in and organised an extra bed literally within 2 minutes of arriving. The service is efficient and rapid. The gentleman who looked after our room in house keeping was awesome, he helped us settle in and the little touches to make the kids feel special was duly noted.
The manager down on the reception desk was excellent. Everything is managed very well, there is no waiting and the service is outstanding.
The view at breakfast is amazing! Mountains in the distance covered in snow. Our stay was better than expected. Parking ✅ Swimming pool and sauna ✅ Food ✅ Service ✅
The hotel location is convenient and the restaurant space is open plan and cosy yet very busy. The hotel does need some updated but everything works well.
The location is literally next to the zoo and the overflow car park 🅿️ is next to the hotel.
The staff here are outstanding. High praise. Thank you.

NNickRZLoved the breakfasts! Normal fry up one day, haggis the next! We had an early start to go to the Highlands, but breakfast was all ready at 630am. Were even allowed to take some fruit and pastries away for the trip. Staff helpful, ordered our taxi. They were not too clued up on getting the transport into the city, this would be helpful as we are easily 30 minutes away from the centre.
I would avoid getting the tram in and out of the city as the distance to the Gateway or Gyle Centre stop is a little far and unless you know where the hotel actually is, then it gets frustrating going the wrong way to get there. TIP:- From Gateway go under the bridge (well lit) and turn left to go up some steps (not ideal with suitcases) to get onto Glasgow Road, head past B&M then you can see the hotel. From Gyle Centre head towards Glasgow Road (dont try to navigate around the shopping centre just head to Morrisons and the main road - the other way you are trapped with no access to cross the railway line!) - go up the stairs and head towards B&M.
If you are lucky enough to read this, then I have saved you 40 minutes and 2 miles of frustration! Some buses are cheaper than others (X38 was 1 quid for adults, kids were free)(100 is the airport bus - expensive)(31 was similar to tram price 2.20gbp for adults, 1.10gbp for kids).
