very good location, close to shopping area, it was not a good experience with the front desk lady, no smile no greeting and rude to my daughters, i am not realized that no visitors allow entry to hotel, no matters they are helping me to settle my suitcase

酒店前台服務非常差，我們原來訂的三人房，有一個人得了流感，入住的時候想調成2個雙人房間並補給酒店差價，前台不同意，原三人房不給調整還要新訂一個雙人房，2個晚上多花了很多錢！旅行期間難免突發疾病，遇上這樣的酒店實在倒黴，一點不講人文關懷，衹注重金錢利益，謹慎預訂！另外，如果入住酒店期間出去的時候還要把房間鑰匙放前台，是否安全請自己權衡！

距離老彿爺大約兩个街口，購物及飲食很方便，值得再來。從酒店出發行路4分鐘可乘坐巴士去北站，非常方便。

其它都不錯就是太小了

Boutique hotel is on a quiet street, 5 minutes walking to the Galleries of Lafayette department store. The front desk girl who can speak French, German, English fluently is very pleasant and helpful, her laughters even made the small lobby much bigger. Our room is small which is expected in Paris, but clean, comfortable. I have to say that the room key was our favorite detail of this hotel. (Please see the picture).

The hotel is in a convenient location but that’s all it has going for it. The rooms were small- even by Paris standards. We had rooms 106 and 108. They were shabby, dark, and lacked proper charging stations etc. the bathroom was so tiny- one person barely fit in it. Stay somewhere else.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in mid-August. It says it’s a 4 star hotel, but it’s really closer to a 3, charging a 4 star price. We checked in at around 9 pm because our train got in late and the lady at the front desk didn’t seem too pleased about that. Here are some of the pros/cons: Pros: -Located close to the metro and the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann -Mini fridge Cons: -Every time you leave the hotel, you have to return the key (an actual metal key) to them. When you come back, you ask for the key back. This is the first time I’ve ever heard of something like that and made it feel uncomfortable to come and go as we pleased -Our room was right above the kitchen so we’d hear dishes clanging really early in the morning -Walls are thin. We could hear whenever our neighbors turned on the shower -The room is ridiculously small, even for Paris. There was barely any room for one luggage, let alone two -Shower door is insufficient and water would get everywhere -Bathroom is cramped As you can see, the cons far outweigh the pros so I would definitely not recommend staying here.

As we all know there are thousands of Hotel rooms in Paris or any city centre for that matter, and it largely comes down to what you want/need and how much you are prepared to pay. The balancing part of that equation that needs to be answered is a level of confidence that the Hotel matches those requirements and expectations before you book, simple.. So what we wanted was A nice (I appreciate that is subjective) Hotel Walking distance from the main tourist attractions but with public transportation close by A safe area, ie not in the Red Light district A budget of less than £150 a night Quiet so we can get a decent sleep Clean Fairly basic but I would say more often than not this is hard to achieve. I would also say the breakfast is a mind boggling 7 euros which made me shiver and determined to venture out to one of Paris’s many patisseries. However it is probably the best value breakfast I’ve ever had, ample everything and worth double. It’s f I had to criticise the pastries were average then I remind myself it’s 7 euros and I can walk 250m to get some. Throw in a super helpful receptionist team and this place has everything you could want or need for a city break. Thank you 🐜

We were looking for a hotel within walking distance of the core of Paris and this worked for us, under 2 kms from the Seine and Louvre. Being in Paris to sightsee we only wanted a clean, comfortable room to sleep in and the Helios was perfect. The staff was very friendly and since we arrived early in the morning we knew our room would not be ready, but they had a secure storage room for our luggage while we went out and began exploring. We did not partake of breakfast so no comment. As others have mentioned, the room we had with 2 twin beds was small, but we were only there to shower and sleep so we had no issues with the size. I would recommend this hotel for budget conscious travellers.

This is in a great location and the hotel is just lovely Really cute Decor Breakfast really lovely Rooms are small no wardrobe but cute hooks on the wall but great as you are not in them in Paris are you. Really clean and staff are all charming Would defiantly stay here again Lift and safe in the rooms

If you are wavering to stay here or not, don't. While others may say to stay in the 7th, which is where I was hoping to stay, this is a fantastic hotel in a great location at a great rate. It is just a short walk or metro ride to where you need to be. In many instances I would take the metro or a taxi to the place I was going and walk back to the hotel. It is in a safe area for a solo woman and about a block away from Galleries and Printemps Haussman. It is situated very close to the Opera and only about a 20 min walk to the Louvre; close to the Metro and the RER. As I mentioned, nothing is really that long of a walk. I was even able to walk back from Montmartre, where I had a secret food tour, bought art, people watched, and took a ton of pictures. The staff is amazing and friendly. No matter the time of day or night, they were always there to say hello. They also take your key when you leave the hotel for the day so you do not have to carry it around and chance losing it. They helped me with everything I needed, except for a glass of wine at the end of the night. I got a couple of great ideas for dinner after striking out for the first couple of days. I only wish I had asked sooner. Yes, the room was small but it was well equipped with plenty of outlets, toiletries, very cold A/C and a shower with great water pressure. I recommend bringing your own hangers as the hangers are the type where the hook stays on the rod. While I traveled solo, there definitely would have been enough room to store items for two guests. There is also an elevator, even to the second floor. Sadly, I left two rings in the safe in my room. I hadn't realized it until I got back to the US and was home for 2 full days. I immediately emailed them advising which room I was in and what the rings looked like and where I had left them. They got right back to me with pictures of my rings and asked where they could send them. I do not know if it was a chambermaid or another guest who found these rings (one was my mother's wedding band), but I am eternally grateful they kept them aside hoping someone would claim them. I cried with happiness. When I say it took me forever to choose the hotel I was going to stay in, it took me forever. I researched so much and I am so happy I chose Hotel Helios Opera. You truly feel valued. PS: There is a special treat waiting for you when you get to your room.

Great location and very central (two minutes walking from galleries lafayette) and hotel, staff is very helpful and friendly … overall had a great experience , rooms are clean but very small… would stay there again but book a larger room…..

We stayed at the hotel from Thursday to Saturday as a group of 8 people. After emailing the hotel manager, we did manage to get all of our rooms on the same floor which was great- thank you Laura for arranging this! Check in process was very easy and the rooms were cosy and welcoming and the bed was comfortable. The hotel was in a great location and less than 5 minutes walk to Galeries Lafayette shopping. There is also a metro station just a few minutes away so most of the city is easily accessible. I would definitely come back to the hotel again. Thanks for everything!
