Great hotel location where you can access many restaurants and bars easily.

Rooms at Hotel de Suez is spacious for a hotel in Paris. I read that they had did a reno and rooms seems pretty new-ish. Staff at the hotel was really nice and friendly. There is a mini lift at the hotel which helps if you have luggages. Just that some rooms maybe up on some small steps while on the floors, so still need to carry your luggage but they have a friendly Mr. Porter who is ready to help you if you need help with your luggages. Just wished they put up more coat hangers and installed more shelvings in the bathrooms.

Very nice hotel, loved the location! the staff at the front desk is very kind, great attitude. They offer breakfast for 13 euros, I did not take it but I find the price quite reasonable. Very clean. I stayed a night but would totally stay again and recommend.

酒店在5區，周邊盧森堡公園，巴黎聖母院走走就能到，環境挺好的，一百多年前的老房子，體驗一下。另外酒店轉彎還找到一家中餐廳，老闆娘是上海人，菜品不錯。

這家酒店的地理位置非常優越，乘地鐵和公交都很方便，在5區感覺也挺安全的，房間我認為在歐洲不算小的，比較簡潔乾淨，非常推薦。

First time at this hotel (other faves couldn't accommodate our dates). We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel's accommodations. Its location is perfectly situated for evenings spent in the Latin Quarter (for dinner or an evening show at our fave jazz club) or walking along the Seine or in the Luxembourg Gardens. Further there are three Metro lines within blocks so you can easily get nearly anywhere in Paris or out to the airports readily. Easy check-in. Friendly front-desk staff present 24/7. Our room was on the first floor, just a short walk up a circular staircase; it was spacious with clothes rack and counterspace and luggage rack. Our bed was comfortable anad the room temperature pleasant. The shower was roomy with the water temp easily controlled; the liquid soap and shampoo were foamy and pleasantly aromatic. Lobby dining area where breakfast (for a fee) is available; they also have an icy water fountain to refill your water bottles. Certainly will consider staying here on a future visit to Paris.

I’ve had some interesting experiences in hotels over the years, but this one will always stand out for the horribly rude service. This is a fine hotel as long as you don’t need anything during your stay, like sleep for example. The room has such poor ventilation it felt suffocating. (Note: we stayed in 6 hotels on this particular trip and this is the only one we felt as though we couldn’t breathe in). We couldn’t open the window without masses of cigarette smoke coming in, so we requested a small fan. No big deal, right? We’ve grown accustomed to requesting a fan in Europe this time of year. But this time, things unraveled quickly. We were literally told, “You request something we think is ridiculous…You THINK you need this, you do not.” And then, subsequently told if we decided to end our stay, we would be charged for the nights stayed, plus an extra night because of how ridiculous our request was… After a lot of back and forth, they eventually agreed to let us leave with only the nights we stayed. We quickly moved to a much nicer hotel, at a lesser price and much kinder staff.

The rooms were appropriately appointed for the price point, the location was nice, and Colombo the breakfast attendant was very nice and attentive. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. We understand that AC is only active in the summer months in Paris, but the room was uncomfortable due to no ventilation. When we asked for a fan to help, the response was something I’ve never experienced before. First of all, the night time staff is by himself and has been told that he can only fix “mechanical issues.” He has no authority to offer any sort of solution to a problem. I emailed the manager that night and didn’t get a response until I spoke with Eric at the desk the following morning. Eric is extremely rude and standoffish. I asked him about a fan and he assured me that no hotels in Paris offer fans to guests. He’s worked in the industry in Paris for 20 years and no hotels have fans on hand. (The first 2 hotels I called for alternate accommodations had fans) Eric was also unable to offer any solutions because the manager can only make those calls. However, the manager often works from home. Anne-Charlotte, the manager, allowed us to depart earlier than our original departure date and refunded the balance, but it was a headache to get to that point. All we asked for was a fan and the situation devolved very quickly. Unfortunately, Hotel De Suez’s desk staff made the stereotype of rude French people true for us…until we found our next hotel which had amazing and attentive staff that were so warm to us. If you value being respected as a costumer, stay away from Hotel De Suez.

Clean rooms, great location and quiet at night. Comfortable beds and nice room temperature. Walking distance everywhere and close to metrostation. Bus stop outside of hotel with useful lines. Staff was lovely. Good value for money. Would stay again.

Brilliant location . Very close to metro , local cafes , Luxembourg Gardens . Clean and modern room. Polite staff . Very smooth check in and out . Will definitely stay there again if ever back in Paris

We chose the Hotel de Suez for its location in the 5th arrondissement ... walking distance to restaurants and cafes, and very close (approx 200 metres) to several metro lines. The room was small, but that's expected in Paris, especially in an older building. The rooms had been renovated fairly recently, and were modern. The ensuite bathroom was spacious by Paris standards. The air conditioning worked well, very helpful on days that reached over 35 degrees C. Our room was at the back of the hotel. While we had a window, it overlooked the hotel/building behind and had no view. But this made it nice and quiet. Reception staff were helpful. We had the continental breakfast in the lobby a few times. Recommend this hotel!

Lovely little hotel in a fantastic location. Don’t be put off by the 2* it is a gorgeous, clean hotel with friendly staff and good amenities. In the vibrant Latin quarter, it is 15 minutes walk to Notre Dame and walking distance to lovely cafés and boutiques. The air conditioned rooms were well looked after, with tea and coffee available and a still and sparkling water dispenser at reception with refillable glass bottles. Clean bathrooms with powerful showers. A perfect base for visiting Paris.

Hotel de Suez is located in the Latin Quarter close to St. Michel. The location is great as you can walk to many places including 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 arrondissements. Tons of restaurants and shopping, just walk down any block. The hotel is quaint and has someone at the front desk 24/7. Our room was spacious, soundproof, and the beds were super comfy. There were also plenty of outlets to charge phones, etc. There was a tiny elevator, so you didn't have to carry your bags up the winding staircase.

I always stay in the fifth arrondissement; it is the best in the entire city, in my opinion. So the Hôtel de Suez is a great find for me. The recent renovations to this hotel are evident the moment the door opens for you automatically! Then the lift is so efficient, even if it is tiny as most are in Paris. We really appreciated the filtered water machine that we used constantly, the big bottles of water, the kettle in the room and even the milk I was given from the kitchen to have with our tea. The staff were welcoming, always smiling, and so helpful when I needed to take a bus to the Gare de L’Est at the end of my stay. My daughter and I loved how spacious the room was, how efficient the air conditioning was, and yet silent. The beautiful bathroom with a window was appreciated and in fact the big windows made the room a joy to be in. The charger sockets were so helpful for our phones and iPads and I appreciated the total blackout and the silence for sleeping. Our room looked onto a small side street and since we had the windows closed at night for the air con, it was totally silent, but even in the day when they were open, it was peaceful. Lots of hanging space, a mini fridge, shelves, a desk area, modern lighting and lamps. Really there was not a thing to criticize. I shall be back at this hotel next time I am in Paris, for sure!
