Hôtel de Charonne

방은 많이 좁은데 침대가 커서 둘이서 쓰기 좋았습니다! 데스크도 매우 친절하셨어요. 위치는 파리 주요 관광지에서 조금 멀긴 한데 바로 앞에 지하철역이 있어서 이동하는데 불편함은 없었습니다.

I’m surprised this Hotel was rated three stars. The pictures in their website is false advertisement. The room looked nothing like the pictures. I was shocked when I entered the room. I would never recommend it to anyone coming to Paris. Very small and uncomfortable room. Shower extremely small a person barely fits. The bed pushed against the wall not like the picture in their website.

Easy to find just a few minutes walk from Rue les boules metro station. Nice area with a carrefour just around the corner and a few restaurants dotted about but it’s only about 7/8 mins walk to Place Nation which has anything you could possibly need. Check in was easy and quick and all staff members we encountered were friendly. Corridors to the rooms were a little tight and lift small but the room itself was quite a nice size by Parisian Standards. Room was clean and nicely decorated and did look like the pictures on the website but the bathroom very small and I banged my head on the wall a couple of times when sitting on the toilet lol. Shower was powerful but hairdryer absolutely rubbish (like every french hotel dryer I’ve encountered) so bring your own ladies. There is a nespresso machine in the room and a few pods are provided but no milk. There is quite a lot of building work around the hotel that seems to have disturbed others but it didn’t disturb us and we’re not heavy sleepers. We were on the 5th floor with a balcony so that possibly could be why. I would recommend this hotel 😊

This hotel was advertised as "Comfort Hotel Pere Lachaise," 12 Rue Leon Frot, Paris 75011 when we booked in the spring and later stayed there in September 2023. It is conveniently located only about two blocks from a Metro station. Although the corridors, rooms, and bathrooms were tiny, they were adequate, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. The staff were welcoming and helpful with directions, maps, luggage storage, and nearby restaurant recommendations. The one complaint about the hotel was that, when we booked it in the spring of 2023 (for our stay in September), the price was advertised as breakfast included. However, when we checked in, we were informed that the "breakfast included policy" had changed at the end of August and that, if we wanted breakfast at the hotel, we would have to purchase it at an additional charge of about 12 Euros. Not wishing to reward that conduct, we elected to walk to a nearby patisserie/boulangerie for breakfast each morning while staying there.

The furnishings were good, but the room was small and awkward for one person. Best if you're traveling very light with things to do during the day. No AC but open window and fan made it suitable. Good location with shops and Metro 1 block away. With excellent bakeries nearby, don't buy the breakfast in the hotel.

Dirty and filthy rooms including bathroom. Broken furniture. Construction next door so extremely noisy. One should go somewhere else and pay a few more euros. We avoided breakfast. The only problem is the neighborhood (if no construction) that is quiet and have restaurants around. By the way, there is no air conditioning so if it's hot, it's very uncomfortable. It should be a 2 stars hotel at the most.

Good location, Metro-station is just 3 minutes away, we were greeted by friendly staff upon check-in, even though it being nearly 9 at night. A bit off of a major street it is surprisingly quiet. We don't need much as we are out most of the day, for that it's perfect! Now for the downside: The room was tiny. Not small. Tiny. No shelf or rack where you could put your suitcase. Strange theft protected hangers which give you a hard time hanging up trousers or a shirt. The shower was so small, i could not turn around without bumping into the faucet. There's dust everywhere in the corners and behind the waterpipes. (Not once did we hear a vacuum cleaner during our stay). In the corner to the window, there is mould, in the shower there is brown residue of some kind and the faucets show grey stains from calc. Also, the walls are thin, we heard noises from our neighbours... Turn a blind eye on hygiene and you are just fine!

We could perfectly hear all the conversation of the couple in the next room. It seemed that they were in our room! I asked the front desk to switch to another room or get a refund, but was told that the hotel was full, and it was not possible to get a refund. She called the couple and asked them to be quieter, despite the fact that they were not being loud at all, and the problem was the dry wall between the two rooms. The following day, a new guest (alone) came to the neighbor room, so we didn't hear anything anymore, but I was very disappointed with the lack of privacy that we have in this hotel.

The Staff was very good, polite, and good customer service. I forgot a package in the lobby . I contacted them and we are working out how to delivery to us. Thank you staff !!
