Cocoon Maldives - All Inclusive

Struttura ideale per chi vuole rilassarsi e fare una vacanza in un luogo veramente tranquillo, elegante e piacevole. Di seguito provo a fare un breve riepilogo di quello che ci ha offerto la struttura durante il nostro soggiorno. CAMERA: la nostra camera era la camera tipologia "villa laguna". Sono camere dal lato dove sorge il sole costruite direttamente sull'aqua. La camera è molto spaziosa e confortevole con terrazzo ad uso esclusivo della camera e con scalette per accesso diretto al mare, come da foto allegate. Bagno con doccia, lavandino, bidet e wc. Nella camera è inoltre presente un minibar con analcolici (offerti se prenotati con formula all-inclusive) e alcolici, una macchina per fare il caffè e un bollitore. RISTORANTE: Nel ristorante principale viene fatta colazione, pranzo, spuntino pomeridiano durante l'ora del tè e cena. Tutto quanto è a buffet. I buffet sono molto ampi e variegati in maniera tale da accontentare un po' tutti i gusti. Durante i vari giorni della settimana, a cena, viene proposto un "tema" della cena. A noi è capitato di mangiare alla serata italiana, maldiviana, giapponese, mediterranea, marocchina e indiana. SPIAGGIA: se uno vuole può anche andare in spiaggia ed usufruire degli ombrelloni e sdraio disponibili in più punti dell'isola. Vengono poi forniti anche gli asciugamani da poter mettere sulle sdraio. BAR IN SPIAGGIA: nella spiaggia principale è presente un bar aperto praticamente sempre fino al dopo cena dove è possibile prendere alcolici e analcolici. Se avete la formula all-inclusive come abbiamo fatto noi potete prendere gratuitamente molte tipologie di bevande e cocktails. ESCURSIONI E ATTIVITÀ: la struttura organizza anche molte escursioni (quasi tutte però a pagamento). Questa penso sia l'unica cosa che abbiamo apprezzato meno del nostro soggiorno in quanto ci sarebbe piaciuto aver avuto a disposizione un numero maggiore di escursioni. Oltretutto, se in caso di maltempo vengono cancellate uno deve riprenotarsi (i posti sono sempre limitati) tutte le volte. Vengono poi organizzate attività in spiaggia e sull'isola (ma anche qua non sono sempre tutte gratuite). DEPARTURE LOUNGE: La struttura è inoltre dotata di una departure lounge, completa di docce e bagni dove il giorno del check in potete usufruire in caso di volo pomeridiano. IDROVOLANTE: La struttura deve essere raggiunta tramite trasferimento in idovolante (non incluso nel prezzo del soggiorno) di durata di circa 35 - 40 min (se volo diretto, a volte fa anche fermate ad altri resort e ci mette un po' di più). Tenete quindi conto anche di questo costo in fase di prenotazione. Nel complesso la valutazione della struttura e del nostro soggiorno rimane davvero soddisfacente e consigliata! Ho allegato anche un po' di foto...spero possano esservi utili!

We had a wonderful stay at Cocoon Maldives. The weather and the food were great. We were in a Lagoon Villa. It was very spacious and equipped with everything you need. Our host, Hassaan, was very attentive and was always available to answer our questions. Absolutely recommendable!

Amazing holiday! Staff were friendly and attentive, most especially Riyaz! He tended to our every need. My husband had a pre-existing ankle injury which flared up during the visit, Riyaz ferried us to and from the restaurant and wherever we wished to go so that my husband didn’t have to walk on the ankle. The room was great and very clean! Entertainment and excursions were also very good. I would highly recommend Cocoon Maldives!

We have just returned from a week holiday in Cocoon and what a week! Everything is fantastic at this resort! Staff: The entire staff is extremely, extremely polite but friendly at the same time. Special thanks to Hassaan who looked after us throughout our entire stay and gave us the best recommendations. He was just a message away from us the whole time! Thank you, Hassaan, for making our holiday truly special! Accommodation: We chose an overwater villa / Lagoon suite and it was incredible. Very clean, very spacious, with everything we needed. We went for plain AI therefore only non-alcoholic drinks were included free of charge in our mini bar but that was just fine. Unbelievable but true: cleaning services, including change of the towels and replenishing the minibar were done twice a day. Sea/ beach/island: The pictures are true! Incredible blue water and white sand. Daily snorkeling activities during which we had the opportunity to see thousands of colorful fishes, corals, turtles and baby shark. And stingray, our dearest surprise! While the snorkeling around over water villa was great the best snorkeling is to be done on the other side of the island near the Kurum bar. Although the island is not big, we managed to achieve an average of 12.000 steps daily. The flora and fauna within the island are spectacular. Make time for the sunset, best place for pictures is near Kurum bar and you will not regret it. The food: High standard during our entire stay. We definitely can say that OCTOPUS was the best buffet restaurant we have ever experienced. A lot of fish and seafood, sushi, vegetables, but also beef or pork; our preferred desert was a plate of extremely tasteful exotic fruits made. The variety of menu was fantastic, with different themes every evening! Being honeymooners, we received a complementary dining in MANTA restaurant (a la carte). Good food and services, as well. This island resort is fantastic and we would definitely return! You simply can not be disappointed should you decide to choose this resort!

Just wanted to share what a great time I had at Cocoon Resort! The whole experience was amazing, but I have to give a shoutout to Riyaz, our butler. He was super attentive and made sure everything was perfect. Can’t wait to go back!

It was the best place i have ever been in my life. The island is so beautiful, everything was great. The food was the best and the stuff was sooo friendly. I stayed in a beach house and it was perfect. I loved everything! Go there and you will not regret it

We went for our honeymoon to Cocoon Maldives. Spectacular! We had an amazing over water bungalow with pool and Riyaz, our superb host, looked after us very well. He arranged anything and everything we could need, from excursions to massages to our check out and sea plane, as well as picking us up when it was raining (yes, it does rain in the Maldives!) 5 star! Thank you Riyaz! The island is beautiful, we managed to see turtles snorkeling just off the beach as well as on the two snorkeling trips we went on organised by the resort that Riyaz booked for us. The food is great. You may think as it is a buffet situation that it's going to be the same old thing, but it was really high quality food and cooked very well, with different themes each night. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, we particularly had Adnan and Iran serving us in the restaurant a lot of the time who were always welcoming and hospitable. Can highly recommend.

If you want to have a great stay at Cocoon Maldives, make sure you ask for Riyaz to be your island host! Our honeymoon couldn’t possibly go any better! Everything was perfectly organised and planned for us, we didn’t have to worry about a single thing! Rooms were always super clean, food was delicious, staff incredibly friendly. Definitely recommend this place!
