The Old Library Inn Bed & Breakfast

Having grown up in the area and being familiar with this property as a private residence, it was fun to stay in it as a bed and breakfast. Absolutely beautiful inside. I loved having the baby grand in the living room and with the place all to ourselves the first night (it was mid week) I enjoyed playing it. Our host was very pleasant to chat with in the morning at breakfast and the breakfast, made to order, was delicious. Having access to coffee and hot water for tea and cocoa at all times was an added bonus. The front porch provided a delightful place to sit and relax. Very clean and fresh as well as beautifully decorated.

I stopped for the night on a recent roadtrip! I checked in after a long day on the road and had a very comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and the breakfast in the AM was perfect. Would definitely stay there again! (Had dinner next door too--- so good!)

Everything about this place is perfection, from the old front porch to the gourmet breakfast to the walls adorned with beautiful words from writers in each of the themed rooms. The sitting room with its cozy fire is everything you want at the end of the day. It's close to everything, including a farmer's market and area attractions.

Hard working yet so friendly staff. Room was small, very clean, comfortable bed. The sitting and dining rooms are just lovely, beautiful inlaid wood floors. Conveniently, the inn has a good bar and restaurant next door. The breakfast was served at a communal table B&B style, and was very good.

What an amazing gift to those who stay. I feel fortunate to have been so warmly welcomed to such a beautiful space to stay, eat the most wonderful food... and to be welcomed by warm individuals. Truly undeniably and uniquely presented in every detail... from the flowers when you walk in, to the mat at the door, the carefully selected quotes on the wall to the high quality linens, delicious food and most importantly the staff... everyone was so kind. Thank you and can not wait to return!
