This is like an Oasis in the middle of fields. I arrived at night, so my first glimpse of the place, waking up to birdsong, was through double doors which opened out onto the gardens to a pool. Wonderful! Waiting for me was the unbelievable breakfast. From all kinds of freshly cut fruit to pancakes, so many local cheeses,cold meats, scrambled eggs, warm bread and fresh orange juice. The service was warm and friendly. The owner Lourdes is attentive and kind, most professional. She has thought of everything. Don't miss this one.

Honestly this place exceeded our expectations. It’s cozy and calm. The room was nice and clean. We visited it in November and the rooms are properly heated. The breakfast was tasty, especially the pancakes! There is tennis court and nice garden to explore. There is also a good pool, but it was already a bit too cold outside for us. We wish we stayed more than one night!

Great quiet place to stay near Costa Vicentina with super service on a large domain. We stayed in a separate house with two bedrooms. It has decent sized bedrooms, a very clean bathroom and living room with kitchenette. Breakfast is served in the main house, overlooking the beautiful garden with pool. Everything here is just perfect. As it's located in the country side I do think you need a car to get there, and also restaurants are a few km away. The area is nice for walks, especially the Fisherman's trail and the Rota Vicentina circular walk 14 - Odeceixe to the Sea which passes close to the property.

Extremely warm welcome by staff at this lovely accommodation. Everything is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and the grounds are gorgeous. To top it off the breakfast is varied and plentiful. We highly recommend Monte Jao Roupeiro!!!

We were only here for one night but in that short period of time we got a good feel for the place. It's small peaceful place in the country. Very quiet and relaxing. It was clean and breakfast was good.

Excellent and friendly place to stay, fantastic breakfast. If you can make your way to town to eat, it’s easy to get a taxi back.

É um local espetacular. As pessoas são muito simpáticas e atenciosas. Tem um lago para andar de canoa, piscina, campo ténis e muito campo para passear. Próximo tem praias lindas. Recomendo.

Alles hat uns bestens gefallen: die Unterkunft, der schöne Garten mit Schwimmbad, das freundliche Personal und das überwältigende Frühstück - selbst als wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Und besonders genossen haben wir die Tatsache, dass in allen Zimmern funktionierende Heizkörper vorhanden sind, was in Portugal sehr selten ist. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen.
