This is our second year staying at the Springhill Suites Ocala. From check-in to the moment we left, our experience was exceptional! The same as last year, Dale at the front desk greeted my family and I with a smile. He completed the check-in process in 3 minutes or less which was phenomenal after a long day of traveling. Our 2 queen bedroom was immaculate and had enough towels and wash cloths to suit the 4 of us (some hotels you have to ask). We woke up the next morning to a nice variety of hot and cold breakfast options, which was so convenient and tasted great! The grounds are well kept including the business center area and indoor pool. We were always met with smiles but the staff and felt very welcomed! We will definitely be back! This will be our go to hotel when we visit Ocala!

We did not find out until after our first night that they only do room 'refreshes' every other day and a proper cleaning after 3 nights. This was not mentioned on their site, nor when the reservation was made. We had two rooms booked for a week and are checking out early as the service from the front desk was equally disappointing. They charge you full-service prices and provide you with half-service experience.

Debbie at the front desk is RUDE!!!! They messed up my reservation several times..name, dates and no Marriott Bonvoy number attached. The in-room a/c units automatically shut off when you leave your room. So, on a 98-degree day you come back to a HOT, stuffy, muggy, damp feeling room🤮. Room set-up is ODD, at best. In a 2 queen bed room, one room looks directly into the bathroom (literally it's at the end of the bed!). The other bed looks at the TV. The entire area by the door is wasted space with a random, protruding desk with walls (like an office cubicle!) in the center. The only pool is a very small, indoor pool. Again, it's sunny and 98 degrees outside..nobody wants to sit inside an indoor pool. No maid service, of course. Comforter on bed was stained and mirror in bathroom was cracked.

Terrible customer service, room was very dirty cheese on carpet the sofa had multiple stains. I asked for foam pillows was told they only have feather pillows at front desk and room should have them in there. They did not so I sleep on my towels. When informed of dirty carpet said she will make a note of it. She had zero concerns for anything I told her. I stay at hotels all the time there are issues sometimes that’s life but they way they are handled is what matters. This agent just felt like it was more of a bother and could care less. Stay somewhere else.

We will never stay again. We spent two nights, paid almost $300 per night and were never told that housekeeping is only provided on the third day and nothing is done in between, not even towel replacement. We had to go to the lobby and ask for fresh towels. There was nothing in the room indicating the lack of housekeeping and in fact there was a note that we could place towels on the floor and they would be replaced, Totally unacceptable and definitely not worth the money.

Had an opportunity to spend a week here while waiting for our home to be built. This is a newer and very nice hotel. Our room and the public areas were spotless all the time. They offer a “free” breakfast with a breakfast meat, potatoes, and egg entree, in addition to muffins and bagels. The area is kept spotless by an employee during breakfast hours. We were in a 2 queen ADA room with roll in shower and a sofa which also became a trundle bed. The bathroom has a slider type door with frosted glass. You can hear very clearly any noise in the bathroom. Although the door is frosted it in in front of the beds and I would feel a little funny if I was sharing the room with anyone but family. The shower has no bumper on the floor outside the shower is a floor drain. Even with the shower head facing the wall water was spraying out. We just put an extra towel on the floor to catch the water. One thing I really liked about the shower is the knobs to work it are on the side wall of the shower and not under the shower head that way you can turn it on without being soaked by while the water warms up. We found the room to be very roomy. There is a desk and chair that separates the living area from the sleeping area. We had problems with the Wi-Fi going out a few times during our stay. The employees are polite and professional. We were here a week and we heard no loud yelling or carrying on. They do allow dogs and I know more than one stayed on our floor during our stay. We heard one small bark and nothing else. The hotel sits right off of rt 200 and is minutes from shopping and any kind of restaurant you could think of. it would be good value for the price if the Wi-Fi was a little more stable

This is our second time staying here in three weeks. We had such a great experience a few weeks ago, it was a no brainer to to stay here again when we had to come back to Ocala. Roxana at the front desk was so amazing in accommodating all of our requests and then some! She is professional, helpful and has the perfect personality and customer service for hospitality. The rooms are spacious and clean and the AC works great. I absolutely recommend staying at this hotel if you’re coming to Ocala!

My husband and I were coming home from family reunion with our medium size dog. It was almost 9 pm on Saturday night. First thing my husband ask the night person was "do you allow dogs" he was told yes. He the ask if there were any rooms available, and the price. He was told there was availability. The room was reasonably priced $149.00, so he booked the room. We got to our room, which was very clean. Took showers, went to bed. Check out was uneventful. I was driving and he put the receipt in my purse. The next day when I looked at the bill the charge for our furbaby was $150.00. I called the corporate office and more or less was told that is the way it was. The price of our pet was not disclosed at time of check in and my husband "assumed" it WOULD NOT be over $50.00. I have received no satisfaction from Marriott. I was told they have to bring in special cleaning after a pet has been in the room. BULL!!! and I let the person I spoke to know it. I WILL NEVER STAY IN ANOTHER MARRIOTT AGAIN!!!! In the future when you are going to charge more for the pet fee than the room, it would be a good idea to disclose this in advance. P.S. We were in our room from 9:15PM and checked out at 10:27AM for a total of 69 minutes.
