On arrival in our family room we thought it was a bit smelly so we asked if they had a different one. Turned out they had one left next door (separate place called pavillon 7) so they kindly moved us there which we appreciated. No complaints about that room. But I do want to mention that the room that we booked looked much more modern in the pictures than the one we got (which had old furniture which maybe caused the stuffy smell). Breakfast was so/so. Coffee quality could be upgraded. On a separate note we loved Obernai for a short stop back home. Great little village with many nice restaurants and a relaxing a**osphere. If you have an electric car reserve your spot in advance in the garage of the hotel. We did not, so were lucky to be able to use one of only two charging stations in the large parking area at the entrance of the village.

Hotel was nice and clean. Quite basic for the ££ to be honest - we were expecting a bit more. But as we were there for just one night it was ok. Main feedback would be to have some water available in reception (aside from the welcome bottle that’s there), and that the sofa in the family room was very uncomfortable and the bottom cushion’s continued to slip out. All in all though the staff were lovely, the location excellent and the bed comfortable. Only issue with location was how loud the church bells were - not great with a baby!

Superb hotel! We have never been disappointed in any of our Diana Hotels experiences (this is our 5th). This is the first time we have been to Obernai. We booked Le Colombier not knowing there was a wine festival happening, but we were not at all disturbed. Our room had a separate toilet to the bathroom (++). There was also a second door in between the toilet and bathroom to the bedroom that insulated even more from any noise there may be in the corridor. Bed super comfortable! Perfect nights sleep. Obernai is excellent for walking and biking. We used the sauna and relaxing room after to relax. Of course the area is ideal for enjoying the local food and wine (although always remember to book in advance if there is a particular restaurant you might like to try). A big thank you to all the staff for being super helpful and welcoming!

Centrally located in the wonderful city Obernai, perfectly just beside the main walking street. Well working air condition really pleasant in the summer. Breakfast with good variety with all kind of cheese.

Have visited a lot of places in Europe and and can only say that France have their own standard for number of stars. This hotel is in my opinion not a 4-star hotel as the room we stayed in, even though it is one of the largest, is not up to standard. I can mention: - The toilet is very tiny and is not together with the bath or the zink (this is in another room) - the sofa in our lounge room is an extra pull out bed, so it is impossible to sit in normally. The pillows keep falling out. - the towels in the bath room are very small - the breakfast is ok, but nothing special. They do make the worst bacon, I've tasted. I think They microwave it, as it has no crust or crispness at all. On the plus side, the service of the staff is top notch. Very friendly all of them and very helpful.

Friendly and helpful hotel staff, well located in the centre of the town. Very pleasant room and a good breakfast. Secure storage for bicycles. A great town with lots of character. Very comfortable bed, in room tea facilities and good cleanliness.

Was lovely hotel, the staff were really friendly and made us feel vey welcome. Room was comfortable and spacious and with our dog it had a enough space for him to relax as well. nThe shower was excellent and the location superb to walk to any of the local resturants and cafes
