Wonderful hotel

Nice , small hotel. Located in rural area. Clean rooms. Large restaurant and bar. Well equipped gym although hotel added a surcharge to use this as a guest. A pool too.

Arrived pleasantly surprised by the location and the facilities, nice place, well maintained, friendly helpful staff. Good bars and great views of the courses. The courses are the hill and the valley, these are both challenging and very different, we played the hill Day 1 which we all considered the better of the two, although the valley is also a good course. We are coming back.

A fabulous place to stay and play golf. Two different with one challenging golf course, excellent food in the DBB Golf package , spacious and well equipped rooms and to put the icing on the cake, the staff were all lovely, helpful and happy! Loved it so much I am bring 21 ladies with me next year! Would thoroughly recommend.

Evening food was lovely in the brasserie. The golf course was lovely. We played the hill course. The spa was great. Great range of treatments and people were nice. Location and general feel about Barnham broom is amazing. The smaller sized resort is much better aswell. The 2 downsides: The breakfast was horrendous. The quality of the food and the state it was cooked in was diabolical. (Full english) the hot drinks were also done with little to no care and was not good at all. The bar in the middle of the hotel between the brasserie and the sports bar would be an amazing place to have proper drinks, lovely setting and great for people to have a nice evening drink. This wasn't manned and we were just directed to the sports bar as a couple to get drinks instead...which is more 'laddy' than we wanted for our after evening drinks. Which was a shame.

Sharon at reception was fantastic with a last minute request and the rooms and food on offer were superb. The golf course was in fantastic condition and service throughout was excellent. The food in the restaurant was of a very high standard and portion sizes were excellent

Reception were welcoming & helpful. We had checked in digitally beforehand but those details eg car reg had not updated so seems a waste of time. Had a superior room which was a good size & well appointed. Bathroom was on the smaller side and could do with a more thorough clean / renovation. Did request view of golf course which we did not get but maybe no rooms with that view. Were on DB&B rate in a group of 8 so we were requested to pre-order dinner. Overall was good but the feather blade beef was a bit dry, could do with a bit more sauce to give it flavour. The Pork was good. Breakfast was good. Freshly cooked & hot. Played golf. Pro-shop staff very helpful & friendly. Good rate for guests. The Hill course was in very good condition & enjoyed the round

Really enjoyed our golf stay There we’re 24 of us and we were well looked after All went well…golf courses were great…well kept course and greens Hotel facilities and food were good Admin was straight forward It’s likely we will return which is always the best review statement

Food was excellent, the dinner was of a very high quality, veggie breakfast good too and the service was excellent, all the staff were friendly and professional. We enjoyed our time in the Sports Bar, and although drinks are quite expensive, service and surroundings were very good. The Valley Golf Course is Ok but the round took nearly 5 hours and we were behind a 5 ball which we feel the golf shop should have avoided, 1 player of which arrived late and shouldn't have been allowed to play. The greens were average and bumpy and the tee boxes very poor with very few flat areas to tee off. We played 9 holes on the Hill course too and this was in much better condition with better greens and fairways but still uneven areas on the tee boxes. I also used the pool and steam room which at £7 i felt was reasonable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall i enjoyed my first visit to Barnham Broom, feel it was reasonable value for money and would happily return for another visit.

We stayed for 4 nights in September 2024. Our room was very nice, super size bed and nice and clean. coffee/tea etc. refreshed every day. Both golf courses were a nice challenge in different ways and both in excellent condition. All the staff were excellent, particularly Dana in the sports bar, she was very efficient and friendly. The dining room staff on every night were excellent. The food was very good and of a very high quality. We have stayed in a number of these golf resort hotels and this has been one of my favourites.

Staff service rooms dinner and breakfast all excellent . Our 6th visit and always enjoy . Golf courses in brilliant condition , shame we had torrential rain thunder lightning and hail stones .Only improvement recommended for both courses - have a graphic picture guide or layout of each hole by the tee box

We stayed two nights here on 10th and 11th September. We have stayed here several times in the last year and think of it as one of our favourite hotels. The staff are very efficient, friendly and helpful. We usually stay in the Valley Suite (Room 15) because of the lovely view from the window over the golf course. The breakfast is very good as also the dinner, however, a change to the menu for dinner would be welcome. Perhaps a different pasta dish or chicken done another way. Also, the shower in the room does need to be updated, there isn't even somewhere to put soap, shampoo etc. Overall though this is an excellent hotel and we hope to stay again in the near future.

Held my Captains Golf Break here (38 golfers) and it was excellent. First class location, good food, courses were in great condition and the staff service from everyone throughout the hotel and golf was superb. A personal thank you to Sheila who arranged everything for me.

A very enjoyable weekend at Barnham. My room was comfortable, the food very good and the staff excellent nothing was to much trouble. I preferred the Hill course to the Valley but both were in good condition. Would have no hesitation in visiting Barnham Broom again
