Ashby de La Zouch

The hotel itself was fine and the staff were friendly but the breakfast was awful, the fruit and yogurt were rotten (it wasn't hot outside) the dishes were all dirty and grimy, didn't even want to take a bowl for cereal or a plate for the toast because they were all disgusting, cups were the same, I was barely able to eat, the cooked breakfast took forever to come and we had a busy day planned so got late

A really nice hotel, the usual high standard you expect from a Premier Inn, requested a ground floor room, due to my partner having difficulty walking, which was as requested, room very clean and tidy. The bed was just right for a good nights sleep with plenty of hot water for the Bath/Shower. The only let down was the Breakfast in the Brewers Fayre Restaurant, not freshly cooked as stated, came out luke warm at it's best, and the restaurant staff were told ,but didn't seem to be interested about it, such a shame as it was supposed to be the high lite of the day. Will Use Premier Inn Ashby again for sure, but maybe not the restaurant. The

Once again we stayed whilst visiting Donington Park for the British Superbike Championship event, as it's an ideal base, with shops in Ashby De La Zouch close by if required. All staff we met were pleasant and cheerful, what more could you ask for.

Stayed here as we were going to an event at Donington - fantastic reception team, clean comfortable and plenty of places to eat around it. Location is so convenient.

I stayed 2 nights with my daughter for a family event! The first night we used the restaurant no one came to check at any point if we were happy with our food! W I had the rib chicken combo and the chicken was so overdone it was inedible! No one asked when took plate away! Reception did ask but then stated oh it’s 2 different management we will let them know! No one came to speak to us and we stayed 2 nights so felt I acknowledged! Everyone was very busy when we left restaurant so gave up waiting to tell them!

Great night’s sleep as I was expecting with a Premier Inn. Really friendly staff who were welcoming and helpful. Lovely breakfast the day after. Usual pub grub for supper - we were late arriving so it was fine for us. We’d definite stay here again.

Honestly the receptionist (Lizzie) was so lovely and helpful, we had some issues checking in and she was professional and really great. She even helped us to our room and made sure we were all happy and content with our room. The issues we had wasn’t the hotels fault, but she took her time to help resolve it and did a really thorough job. She needs a rise! She was great.

Excellent staff member greeted us , was friendly and helpful and very professional. Room very clean and modern , all was just as we liked

Had a lovely stay at the premier inn in Ashby, everyone was so friendly especially Lizzie the receptionist who went above and beyond for everything me and my family needed and made us feel so welcome, definitely needs a pay rise.The rooms were very clean and we will definitely be returning in the future.
