Wonderful place to get away and escape to! Room was extremely comfy and the staff was great! Breakfast in the morning was always wonderful. Scenery around the inn was breathtaking. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to stay in the area.

On our way to the Total Eclipse this was a lucky but perfect choice. Staff helped us to make reservation at The Elms. Our room was nice and spaceful. Nice quiet location with a wonderful view of the lake, perfect for breakfast. We hope to visit again to try the lake ... a little chilly at this time of the year - and the in-house restaurant. Looks to have a lot to do.

This inn is a hidden gem. The staff were great and the breakfast was lovely. It was a nice quiet location with a wonderful view of the lake. The recommendation for dinner at The Elms was perfect. Our room was perfect for us. We hope to visit again.

Perfect location and accommodation for a late winter visit. My day began with a delicious breakfast served in the dining room overlooking the lake with snow covered Mount Kearsage in the background, followed by 2 mile hike through the woods on snowshoes. I had lunch and dinner in New London just a few minutes drive up the road and returned to the inn to enjoy a quiet evening, reading by the fireplace before retiring to my comfortable quiet, third-floor room. All in all a great stay.

Wonderful inn and home base for exploring the New London area. Cozy sitting areas with games, a view of the lake. Breakfast was delicious and awesome hospitality! Would love to come back in the summer, as they have boats/kayaks to go out on the lake.

Awesome place. Super relaxed and chill. Easy to find. People exceptionally kind. Slept like baby on a very comfortable mattress. Breakfast was perfect and made to order! The elms restaurant at the sister property the new London inn is fantastic and artfully gastronomic type meals in a very inviting atmosphere. Have stayed at this inn twice and will definitely come again

A classic New England Inn with beautiful views of the lake. Very comfortable, accommodating staff and a delicious breakfast. New London is a 5 minute drive and has many fine restaurants and a wonderful architectural heritage. If you enjoy old houses and farms, this is the place to go.

My daughter and I just needed a decent place to sleep for the night while visiting a couple colleges in the area. We’d stayed in a pretty dumpy “inn” the night before so the Inn at Pleasant Lake was a pleasantly surprising delight. The old building was beautiful, immaculate & cozy, and the staff warm and genuine. Our room was totally comfortable, unique (clever updates had obviously been made to modernize an old residence) and clean. It wasn’t very expensive to stay the night so I imagine if money is no object you could be more pampered, but this was really lovely and beyond our expectations for a place to land in a snowstorm! We appreciated the care and attention the staff/owners put into their business.

I’ve been looking at property in the area and decided I should visit when things were slow and dreary. The first midweek night I was the only one at the Inn. The service was friendly and impeccable. I’m looking forward to visiting again when the world is green and the lake thawed. A freshly made breakfast with a view of the lake was a pleasant beginning to the day. The restaurant was closed for dinner due to renovation in the kitchen but I ate at the sister property which uses the same chef and the menu was well designed and delicious. The staff and management of the Inn have crafted a relaxed elegance.
