The room had a bed and one wooden chair...similar to a prison cell. No desk no reading light and no comfortable place to sit.. The ice machine was hidden with no signage.

I have loved the ACE Hotel for years. I’ve probably stayed there more than any other guest. I found out today it will no longer be the ACE. The Hyatt Group purchased the hotel. I read they would not alter the interior, just changing the name. Time will tell. I will say this.., the name Hyatt and the vibe the ACE has had over the years doesn’t mesh well with me. I’ve talked to several people and they are agree and are just as skeptical about the future of one of Nola famous places to stay. In fact, I’m collecting ACE Hotel labeled items. I will represent the ACE for life! Things change but my feelings will not. Good luck to the Hyatt!!

This hotel did a great job in transforming this warehouse space into a beautiful comfortable destination. Staff was friendly and helpful and the food options just around the property great. Recommendation: the room needed space to rest suitcase and clothes. The Ardmore was so full of stuff there was no room to put our personal stuff a fold down shelf that matches the wood would have been nice. Having a nice luxury bathtub was great and shower was very nice hot water consistently through the entire shower. What would be nice for some amenities Such as bath salts, bubble bath, along with the soap, shampoo, and conditioner overall, this is a great destination for New Orleans very close to all the activities transportation great restaurant very walkable

Enjoyed the area and restaurants around the hotel and also enjoyed the pool- wished there was tea in the room for after a long day of walking!

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in many directions. Loved the courtesy of the staff. A really nice place.

“Style” over substance…. Stay elsewhere as this place really isn’t worth the money. Everything about our stay here was disappointing, from our first interaction with reception to checking out. Staff were, sadly, rude and dismissive on arrival. The room itself was cavernous and in need of a proper clean. No coffee maker, outrageously priced drinks in a very noisy fridge. The bathroom was dirty, with a film of grease across the floor. Threadbare towels. It needed maintenance work. The pool area was nice enough but staff left dirty towels and glasses strewn about and were busy talking to one another. Hard pressed staff in the bar abrupt. On check out, we were told there was a charge of $5/bag to store our luggage before our flight but this was “waived”. This wasn’t a relaxing or pleasant time for us, the hotel is expensive and doesn’t represent value for money. We wouldn’t stay again.

Excellent vibe. Ambiance was great. Multiple bars in the hotel and the restaurants were amazing.

We enjoyed our stay at ACE. It was great to be so close to town. We could walk to the trolley. The staff was wonderful, andthey were happy to store our bags on our last day so we wouldn't miss a second of our play time.
