Pros:
Great view, friendly staff
Cons:
Rooms are very outdated, the toilet button didn't work properly in two rooms. The noise from outside bikes ia very loud and won't give you peace at nights
The roof garden is almost everynight reserved for weddings
There are many stairs to come down from top (about 120)
Rooms are very small

We had a lovely stay, the room was very nice with a really comfortable bed, with top quality sheets and Pillows. Breakfast was nice, we had great dinner both nights, first night room service and second was in the Restaurant on the balcony overlooking the Port, amazing views.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Beautiful location with stunning views of Naples. Lovely staff who could not have been more helpful. Superb restaurant reasonably priced. Beautiful terrace and pool. Comfortable clean rooms. Short walk down into town. Bit steep coming back but there is a very inexpensive funicular round the corner although we preferred to walk off the pizza and pasta and go on foot! Would definitely go back there.

I stayed three nights with my family; there was terrible food, the breakfast was a disaster, unprofessional staff members in the reception area, the pool was non-existent, and the pool area was unclean. There was an attitude of how we could steal from you. The rooms are collapsing with loose wooden walls, and the air conditioning is weak. Although it is left working all day, it barely changes the room temperature, avoiding all costs

Easy review: We already had a wonderful experience under the vineyards in 2019 for our wedding that has been replicated this year taking all our best friends from London. Thanks everyone again (Rosaria, Giuseppe, Gianpaolo, Laura, Fabiano and the Chef) to make another amazing memory! ❤️🌈

An overall very bad experience, which is unfortunate as this hotel could have great potential. A big price tag for bad service, unclean rooms, and lack of understanding from the staff to provide service that meets the expectations of this price tag.

The architecture of this hotel is in itself a journey through time. An old monastery with beautiful terraces overlooking Naples - breathtaking views, probably the most beautiful view of the old town, the harbour and the bay, with Vesuvius in the background. On the roof, an amazing suspended garden, unfortunately the pool and bars on this beautiful garden were not operational during our stay). Good location, above the Spanish neighborhood, convenient to visit the city, funiculars nearby. Our room was fine, with nice view to Vesuvius, breakfast was correct, excellent pastries. With one single person exception, most staff was attentive and friendly. I do recommend this hotel !

My husband and I came for six days to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary and my 60th birthday. We enjoyed the most delicious meal at the hotel restaurant... the atmosphere was sublime and the staff were courteous. Thank you so much to Guiseppe and Vincenzo for making it such a memorable occasion! The view is incredible; the food delicious and the piano player added an extra special touch. The hotel itself is full of history and interest, plus it's well located to explore Naples. All in all we've really enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it!

The good: A beautiful view over the Bay of Naples, very good beds, friendly welcome and, as everywhere, strong coffee. But: The fire safety signaling is weak, escape routes and no evacuation indication! The breakfast is ok although not worthy of four stars. In our room the air conditioning did not work, the bathroom equipment was just two stars and there was a slight sewage smell. The hotel is located above the Spanish Quarter where really disturbing noisy open-air parties take place during the weekend. And then there is the climb from the lower city, but yes, that is your choice.
