Tanhualou Hotel

Given the price, room was OK. Very standard room. Nearest tube station is 18 minute walk. Location is good, right next to the latern festival. Staff were not that friendly, but given the language barrier it was hard to communicate

The hotel is next to the tourist zone, with boat rides and great night shows. It's old but super clean, cozy, lovely, and well-preserved. The staff was super nice, friendly, helpful, and pleasant. Our trip was fantastic. We could explore a lot and visit a lot of places. Also, the trip back to the train station took us only 10 minutes. There are a lot of restaurants near the hotel and as a pleasant bonus a fruit shop right downstairs.

The hotel is going through renovations and they didn’t tell us in advance. There are very loud construction noises since 8 a.m. every day. The elevator and the hallways are very dirty with a lot of debris, including glass debris. The bathroom is very dirty with a lot of fungal stains. The staff are not very helpful. The only plus is that the location is very convenient to travel to Fuzimiao by foot and to other places by bus, but the metro station is quite far. โรงแรมอยู่ในระหว่างการรีโนเวท/ก่อสร้าง แต่ทางโรงแรมไม่มีการแจ้งล่วงหน้า ผู้เข้าพักได้มารู้เองตอนมาถึงโรงแรม มีเสียงก่อสร้างดังมากและตึกสั่นบางช่วงตั้งแต่แปดโมงเช้าทุกวัน ลิฟต์และทางเดินสกปรกมาก มีทั้งเศษไม้และเศษแก้วจากการก่อสร้าง ห้องน้ำสกปรกมาก มีคราบเชื้อราหลายจุด พนักงานไม่ค่อยให้ความช่วยเหลือ ส่วนที่ดีของโรงแรมนี้คือที่ตั้งดี เดินทางสะดวก เดินเท้าไป Fuzimiao ได้ มีป้ายรถบัสอยู่ใกล้ๆ แต่ถ้าจะเดินไปสถานีรถไฟฟ้าก็ค่อนข้างไกลอยู่

The location was perfect but the facilities weren’t clean enough. We asked them to clean again the restroom and they did it . The staff was really nice.

It was hard to find the hotel as there is no English sign and the trip.com location wasn’t accurate. We were upgraded the room as the one given had been used by someone else! It is ok if u are on a budget.

Very warm hotel, I'll book it next time.

Not bad for the price , good for quick business trip

on the whole the hotel is correct as well as the room. the windows are thin on the other hand so you can hear the noises outside The location of the hotel are nice, you can walk easily to the main activities of the city Good point: They accept foreigners
