Caravel Bike Hotel

We stayed a week on a b&b basis as part of a Jet2 package holiday. The hotel is 4-star, modern and very convenient for the centre of Torbole - it's also close to the local bus stops and a short walk to the pier for lake steamers. The hotel is maybe not the prettiest from the outside but inside, the public areas and the rooms are attractive, modern and spotlessly clean. There's a terrace, garden and small swimming pool. The breakfast buffet was very comprehensive and delicious. Finally, the hotel staff were great - so friendly and helpful. Don't be put off by the hotel's use of the name "Caravel Bike Hotel" - it's drawing on the big interest in cycling in the area, with loads of bike rental places nearby. The hotel caters very well for non-cyclists too - we would fully recommend it.!

This hotel is by far one of the tops I have stayed in. Great service, amazing breakfast at the hotel too, one of the best I have ever seen. Helpful staff, they will do anything for you and try their best for you. Huge thank you to Giorgi and Alice who were always super friendly, accommodating and on hand for a chat if you need one, they are a huge credit to the team! The location was great, plenty of eateries and restaurants near by. Not far from the boat station so travelling to different parts of the lake is very accessible. The rooms are clean and tidy, the cleaners are great at what they do. The maintenance of the hotel is maintained. Drink and pool lunch service is amazing. The pool and outdoor area is perfect with plenty. The views from my room were phenomenal. will definitely recommend this to everyone, I will be back one day definitely. thank you Hotel Caravel.❤️

I would not recommend this hotel or resort if you are a solo traveller. Quite simply it is not of a four star standard. The single rooms are small, the beds tiny and they are very noisy as they are positioned next to the lift and stairs. Overall the hotel is a bit dated and basic. On the plus side the staff are helpful and the location is good.

Clean, friendly, quiet and relaxing stay. Felt safe as a female solo traveller. Lovely pool area and excellent breakfast. Helpful staff. Great location and easy walk to restaurants, bars and the lake.

Spent a week at the Caravel bike hotel in October. Everything about the stay was great from the moment we pulled into the park to when we left. We used it as a base for road cycling which was perfect. Would highly recommend it to anyone.

All the staff were really friendly, and always very helpful. A great central location, in town to the bus and ferry terminals. We would happily visit, and stay in Hotel Caravel . Highly recommended to all.

without doubt one of the friendliest cleanest hotels i have ever stayed in, Torbole is a quite quiet compared to other resorts around Lake Garda however i think this is a plus point. the hotel is in a great location just off the front and next to the local COOP.

We stayed at the hotel having booked through Jet2holidays. We were given an exceptionally warm welcome by Roberto who gave us lots of information about seeing the area, activities and hotel. The rooms were very clean and were cleaned every day with toiletries continually topped up. The balcony has a washing line which was very useful and we had a beautiful view of the mountains. The staff in the bar: Alicia, Renata and I’m sorry I didn’t get the name of the other gentleman, but they were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection was truly amazing and catered for everyone: cooked breakfast, omelettes, boiled eggs, cereals, yoghurt, nuts and seeds, breads, croissants, cakes (doughnuts were a particular favourite of my family) pancakes, toast, cold meats, cheese, salad, every kind of milk, juices and isotonic sports drinks where you were encouraged to fill your bottles. We had lunch sitting out near the pool a couple of days and it was lovely to be able to get snacks at a reasonable price. Also we enjoyed several aperol spritz and beers early evening, the staff as I said before were lovely. The location of Torbole is wonderful. The scenery spectacular and lovely boat trips to neighbouring towns of Riva del Garda, Limone and Malcesine were enjoyed. So much sport and the hotel put us in touch with e-bike hire and windsurfing lessons with a discount for guests of the hotel. A special thank you to Alicia for encouraging my attempts at Italian, you are a great teacher!
