Filyra Pension

The Filyra offers a nice, clean room centrally located. Gracious host. The area is quiet but literally 10m from the center of the old town. Don't pack too heavily as you cannot drive through the old Town to get there, but free parking is available just 5 minutes away.

Convenient central location, although parking is an issue, be prepared to drag your cases some distance. The room was large, tastefully decorated and comfortable. Large bathroom with a hot walk in shower. A clothes airer is thoughtfully supplied with pegs. However, there is no outside area to sit out, and little sun reaches the room, which can be a good thing in the middle of summer, but less so in the spring.

We enjoyed our three-night stay at the Pension Filyra and are happy to say we have found a pension we will return to on our next trip to Nafplio. We had excellent communication with the pension before we arrived via emails from the booking service, so we knew they were looking for an arrival time. We were told they would be at the pension during our arrival so we would not have to phone as we approached the city. We parked our car at the free parking at the harbor, and for those who do not know, Do Not Drive into Old Town. Ideally, you pack one bag for your stay so you aren't hauling a lot of luggage. Once you park, it's an easy walk up the street to the pension, which is situated on a quiet, narrow sidewalk but close to all the action in Old Town and near excellent restaurants. There is no lobby, but instead a small reception where you can check in. Our hostess was waiting outside and greeted us in a friendly way. We encountered her daily and she was always friendly and helpful. From this small area, it's several steps straight up to the first floor where there are several rooms in a small hall. This is where bringing a small number of bags is essential because there is no elevator. Our room was #3 and it looked just like the picture with hardwood floors, refreshing paint of a pretty shade of green, curtains, and wooden shutters. The bed was comfortable, and a wardrobe was provided for clothing. We also had a small table, two chairs, mini fridge with provided water and two juice boxes (which were not replenished but the water was), electric kettle, tea and Nescafe tubes. The bathroom was modestly sized with good pressure in the shower and good water temperature. The area was quiet at night, although light will enter the room because the shutters are slatted and not solid and the curtains are sheers, so bring a sleeping mask if this is an issue. If you are arriving by bus, the bus station is close by. This is a nice, quiet part of Old Town, and we are definitely planning to return to Pension Filyra.

Nice big room, with a fridge a hot shower and convenient location. Lacking in facilities. No wardrobe, no drawers, living out of suitcases. Air conditioning didn't work, until a faulty handset was replaced. Only two tea bags supplied, no milk, no coffee, even after requested. We we're told to go to the supermarket, which was closed due to a public holiday. Bed not made up, no curtains, only a light voile, not enough to keep out the security light outside. Pleasant staff, but either inexperienced or unprepared.

The service was excellent. Very nice owner who waited for me. What surprised me was the parking. There is no parking by the Hotel. It is also not possible to drive the car to the Hotel. This means you have to drag your luggage for about 1/2 mile. We just took our backpacks. Parking is safe. The hotel is located in the middle of the old city close to everything and very quiet. No view from the room. The three bed room had a slight smell from the bathroom. Best to keep the bathroom door closed. Room was cozy otherwise and everything was super clean.

Πολύ βρώμικο δωμάτιο με μαυρισμένα από την βρωμιά χαλάκια, αράχνες στις γωνίες, σκόνες στα αντικείμενα και οι μαξιλάρες του κρεβατιού μυριζαν απλυσια!! Το μπάνιο παμπάλαιο, τα έπιπλα επίσης! Ένα σάπιο κλιματιστικό που βρωμουσε επίσης καθώς το άνοιγες!Μείναμε στο δωμάτιο του ισογείου που το παράθυρο ήταν πάνω στον δρόμο που περνούσε κοσμος κ η κουρτίνα έλειπε κ είχε μόνο μια κουρτίνα συσκότισης με αποτέλεσμα να είμαστε μόνιμα χωρίς φυσικό φως. Επιεικώς απαράδεκτο για 70€ τη βραδιά!!! Διαβάζοντας κ άλλες κριτικές διαπίστωσα ότι φροντίζουν μόνο τα δωμάτια των 100€,λες κ τα 70€ είναι τζάμπα!

Τέλεια τοποθεσία, καθαριότητα, ησυχία στο ισόγειο δωμάτιο που αισθάνεσαι ότι ζεις μόνιμα στο Ναύπλιο. Καθημερινά μεγάλο νερό φακελάκια καφε και τσάι. Λογικη τιμή. ΜΑ,τρίζει ένα πλακάκι ΜΑ τα έπιπλα είναι παλιά. ΓΕΛΟΙΌΤΗΤΕΣ.

Sejour fort agréable dans cette pension ..tout confort ..frigidaire clim sèche-cheveux .. Je recommande cet endroit de plus accueil fort sympathique ...propre et belle decoration. 2 Chambres avec petits balcons ..
