Rooms are large, if a bit spartan. The food in the restaurant is good. Service is slow and neither friendly nor unfriendly. All in all an average guesthouse. Nothing bad about it, but nothing that makes is stand our as good either. The reason to stay would be that the village of Münchweier is so cute. If you do stay, make sure you take a walk up the hill behind the guesthouse so you can get a view of the village and the beautiful valley it is situated in.

Tucked away just a few kilometers off the main highway Karlsruhe-Basel is this authentic place. They offer great rooms (suites I would say) that are well equipped and very clean. The brothers who run this place have created a relaxed atmosphere probably helped by the many bike riders that visit the Hotel. We went all in had breakfast at the Hotel (German style including ‘everything’) and enjoyed drinks and dinner at the terrace. Personal is friendly. This was a return visit for us after 12.5 years and we were not disappointed.

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr zu empfehlen! Die Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des gesamten Hotel-Teams ist beeindruckend! Da wir eine Radpanne hatten, wurden wir prima unterstützt! Auch E-Biker sind herzlich willkommen, dürfen an der Ladestation ohne Problem Strom zapfen, auch als durchreisender Gast. Wir haben ein tolles Zimmer mit Balkon und Regenwald-Dusche bewohnt. Das Hotel ist Barrierefreie eingerichtet, wir hätten nicht erwartet, dass es einen Fahrstuhl besitzt um in die oberen Etagen zu gelangen, aber man kann sich täuschen.

Großes sauberes Zimmer, mit großem Badezimmer. Frühstücksbüffet zu fairem Preis. Leckeres, gut besuchte Restaurant (am besten reservieren!) . Freundlicher Service. Gästeparkplätze rund ums Haus. Halbe Stunde zum Europapark. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Gute regionale Küche, große Auswahl an Tagesgerichte, auch preiswerte Mittagsmenüs Montag bis einschl. Samstag. Gut und hilfsbereit der Service. Großer Außenbereich, leider etwas laut da direkt an die Straße angrenzend. Preise vernünftig
