Magnolia Inn B&B

Sharing good vibes about our recent experience at Magnolia Inn. This charming property is within walking distance to all of the shops, restaurants and points of interest. Breakfast options and homemade treats are yummy… a favorite of ours was the “Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti”. We stayed in the very private Lighthouse suite… loved the fireplace and the bedding! Joe & Sandy, the new owners, are delightful and I look forward to staying with them again!

When we first arrived at the Inn, after a 4 1/2 hour drive, Sandy greeted us at the door with a huge smile and started telling us about the Inn. Joe, her husband, joined her, and they both put us at ease. The room and bed were very comfortable and the shower was really nice. They gave us fabulous recommendations for food and took our breakfast order for the next morning. The breakfast was outstanding. There is a nice sitting area out back to have coffee in the morning or wine in the evening. Where we had breakfast was extremely comfortable also with individual tables if you wanted. We were only two blocks from town and left our car at their place as we explored the town. We would highly recommend the Magnolia Inn for anyone that was staying in Mount Dora.

Beautiful B&B. Owners are so very hospitable and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast both mornings was incredibly delicious. Within walking distance to downtown. Wonderful little town! Lots of shops, restaurants and cafes. We’ll go back.

Staying at the Magnolia Inn was an amazing experience. Sandy and Joe, the owners, could not have been more welcoming, generous and responsive. From the convenient downtown location, to the very comfortable furnishings, to the homemade, gourmet breakfast, they deserve a 5 Star well earned rating.

Great location,comfortable bed, and a wonderful breakfast. I actually lost my wallet there and they called the next day and had found it. Would stay again in a heartbeat, the house is close to everything so getting around is easy. We walked everywhere.

Wanted to get away for a weekend and decided on Mt. Dora! We picked the Magnolia and were thrilled. Easy walk to downtown activities and restaurants. The accommodations were super and the breakfast superb. Sandy and Joe were excellent hosts. The inn is beautiful and on a great plot of land. Sitting outside with my morning coffee was a treat! We will be back!

This property is beautiful and very peaceful. Very close to downtown shopping and restraunts. Hosts are exceptional and breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Magnolia Inn. It was walking distance to downtown shops and waterfront parks. Hosts Sandy and Joe made sure our stay was memorable. Morning coffee on the sun porch, breakfast and relaxing on the swing in the front yard was a great way to start our day. The breakfasts were to die for! We left feeling very refreshed and cannot wait to book another stay in the future.

Delightful stay with our hosts Sandy and Joe. Our room, the Inverness, was very comfortable with a wonderful rainfall shower head. The breakfasts were delicious and so filling. Highly recommend for a weekend get away. Convenient to downtown and many good restaurants!
