B&B Hotel Morlaix

Horrendous DO NOT BOOK. Wish I had taken previous reviews more seriously when booking in May for our August stay. Arrived in evening for one night stay with 3 young children and couldn't enter carpark to start with...managed to get through with help from another guest but then access code to hotel would not work. Phoned national number and they tell me they have cancelled my booking. Made no sense to me as had multiple confirmation and welcome emails leading up to and on the day itself with details of our stay. All I got was an apology and left stranded at 9pm with nowhere to go. A kind guest offered one of her rooms to us but soon discovered that neither of their rooms were cleaned and no cleaners or staff on-site. A big disgrace and should be closed down (reading the most recent reviews). Shameful.

The lady at breakfast was extremely rude. Refused us breakfast even though we had paid in advance. We had our grandchildren and had to leave embarrassed. Half of us were allowed to eat?? There were a lot of flies around the food and another member of our group saw a maggot. Disgusting.

Really disappointing. Rooms were basic (that was expected), but walls thin and you could hear people through the walls all evening, woke our toddler multiple times. Breakfast was absolutely disgraceful, barely any food out, none fresh. The lady at the reception was arguing with other customers and she was very rude. Flies and wasps in the eating area. We barely ate. Would not recommend the stay.

Do not book the family room with young children, it’s too dangerous. No air conditioning. Main light switching crackling on use and the shower cubicle flooded through the wall into the room overnight. Very poor response to this.

The accommodation was fine, but check in was complicated. I had the booking clearly shown on my phone and on paper, but staff took a good ten minutes to find it and initially offered only one room whereas we had three booked. It wasn't a reassuring arrival.

Arrived couldn’t get in!! No one on site with our young children. No email of access codes stranded outside in cold!! Phone number cuts off 24/7 helpline no answer numerous times. Disgusting Do not book!! Rang number we then sourced our own hotel hour half away to have somewhere to stay the night

Cheap and cheerful. Comfortable bed, very clean but basic. Value for money. Check in was difficult, the reception wasn’t open but we were given a code to retrieve our key. The trouble was that, even though we’d prepaid via ******* we had to pay again by card to retrieve our room key. When the reception reopened this was refunded, but after a long journey this was a stress we could have done without.

Stayed one night. No issues. Adequate breakfast. Wifi good. No usb point in rooms. Not well signposted, sat nav took me to old entrance no longer in use. Restaurants are nearby. Easy to check in and out. Would use again.

This is a budget hotel, the room was small facilities are basic. Having said that it was clean and quiet and the bathroom / shower was excellent. If you just need a cheap bed this is a good bet , but we stayed for three nights and it was starting to pall.I have to say though that the reception staff were very good in spite of virtually no English
