Stelle di Monte

Out of our two weeks in Italy, Montepulciano was by far our favorite stop. Other than the beautiful landscape and adorable little town, Stella Di Monte is what made our time there so amazing. Owners Igor and Nathalie greeted us as soon as we arrived along with one of their very kind employees who brought us around the property and into their beautiful wine cellar. The room was simply beautiful we couldn’t get over the beauty of the stone surrounding the bed. We were given great recommendations about where to go into in town and where to enjoy some great local meats. Igor cooked us breakfast every single morning and it was one of the best meals I had the whole trip. Our meals were spent outside with the most stunning views along with the most beautiful aromas of all the fresh herbs growing all over the property. I loved Stella Di Monte so much I wanted to spend the rest of our time in Italy there. If you are able to stay here I also recommend leaving with some of their amazing olive oil. I cannot wait to go back!

Such an amazing unique private property. The views were beautiful and the picturesque Tuscan scene. Our hosts we so accommodating. The meals were private, intimate and delicious. Perfect location near Monte Pulciano and the country side left many options open for activities.

My son and I traveled Italy and ended our trip here. This is truly the most amazing place…as close to perfection as I can imagine! Beautiful property, great food, spectacular views, close proximity to Montepulciano and other amazing Tuscany countryside, and the most perfect hosts! Nathalie and Igor put their heart and soul into everything they do here and have cultivated the perfect getaway location. Nathalie even let us borrow her family’s Rummikub game (which I will be buying, Nathalie!). Can’t wait to go back and stay longer!

My wife and I stayed in this lovely location during our journey through Tuscany to visit Montepulciano. The room was exquisite; the decorations traditional yet modern, a great air conditioner (big plus in the summer), comfortable bed, and plenty of room! The hot tub/pool grotto was very relaxing, and the honesty bar let us try a few different local wine selections! In addition, Nathalie and Igor were wonderful hosts! While staying, you must stay for dinner and let Igor cook for you! My wife and I agreed that the dinner he provided was one of our favorites during our entire trip! We will be coming back!

My husband and I had the pleasure of visiting Montepulciano this summer and stayed at Stelle Di Monte for two nights. Since our arrival we have fallen in love with this place, the view of the hill is just breathtaking and I can’t not mention the fresh smell of lavender this unforgettable place has. Nathalie was very friendly and sweet, before arrival she provided us with a recommendation list of places, restaurants, activities, and all you can imagine around Montepulciano. It was easy to decide on our activities in advance and not waste time looking for things to do once we were there. Our breakfast at this Agriculturism was the best breakfast we have had at any other hotel. Everything was made from scratch, Nathalia baked fresh bread and made the best peach jelly I have ever tasted. Igor, her husband, and chef, made us Truffle scrambled eggs for breakfast, I honestly did not want to leave this place. Igor also prepped a special dinner for us at Sunset and was very attentive showing the place facility and telling us all about it. We spent 17 days around Italy and Stelle Di Monte was our favorite place to stay. We plan on coming back soon, and this time we want to stay more days, two days was just not enough to enjoy the calm and peace this place has. Thank you for everything Nathalia and Igor, you guys are wonderful people.

We stayed at Stella di Monte for 3 nights in June, and I am finally home to write a WELL DESERVED review. This amazing inn that Nathalie and Igor have created is truly magical, and I would give it 10+ stars if that were possible. Their story of how they renovated this old farmhouse is amazing. We had a BEAUTIFUL room with a floating bed, great espresso maker (Igor is picky about his coffee, so he tested them!), and awesome AC! The wall in our room is apparently 500 years old! Every morning Igor and Nathalie serve a 5 star breakfast overlooking the vineyards. The view was so amazing that is almost didn't seem real. We enjoyed the jacuzzi one evening, and they have a cute "honesty" bar for wine anytime. We were also SO GLAD we splurged on the dinner that Chef Igor does only twice a week, and WOW!! Words can't express how amazing it was! Michelin for sure! Their hospitality our entire trip was beyond what would be expected, and Nathalie put up with my 100 emails before we arrived. She arranged an AMAZING driver for us for a day who took us to special places in the area, and she also booked a fun pasta making class that we did with some other guests. Every morning I would wake up to the most breathtaking view. I have to say, we didn't want to leave. We will be back! If you are looking to stay in beautiful Montepulciano, look no further - honestly, words can't describe this incredible property that Nathalie and Igor put so much love and care into creating. It was a magical stay!

Stelle Di Monte was amazing! The location was perfect, only a 20 minute walk to the old town. The b&b was clean, warm, cozy, comfortable. The room was clean and bed comfortable as well. The breakfasts were ridiculously good. The truffle shavings from Igor and the homemade break from Nathlie was nothing short of spectacular. In addition the dinner menu was spectacular and was in an ancient Etruscan cellar! We did not want to leave. The view of Montepulciano at night was incredible. We already have. We can't wait to go back! 5 out of 5 stars!

I can’t speak highly enough of Stelle Di Monte. We stayed two nights in the Viste Etrusche room. The whole property and this room were thoughtfully designed with attention to detail that made for a very relaxing stay. The room had a gorgeous view overlooking Montepulciano. On the property, there were several spots to sit and enjoy the view or flowers. We also used the hot tub - which was a highlight of the stay. The food and drink were amazing. Dinner in the restaurant was a one of a kind experience. The location worked well for us to walk into the city (20 mins). At first, that was a little intimidating because the roads are small, but drivers are cautious and it worked for us to explore nearby wineries. 10/10 highlight of our trip to Italy and wish we could have stayed longer!

My husband and I spent over a year planning our trip to Italy to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. For almost a year Nathalie graciously communicated with us providing excellent recommendations of things to do in the area, tour guides and restaurants. Every suggestion was spot on and made our stay even more spectacular. We wanted a magical place to stay while in Tuscany. Stelle Di Monte is BEYOND magical. Upon arriving we were awestruck by the beauty of this renovated farmhouse and the expansive views across the valley to Montepulciano. There are not enough adjectives to fully describe the beauty of this property and the surrounding area. From the moment we arrived Nathalie and Igor welcomed us into their home as if we were family. They gave us a tour and helped us settle into our room. The room we stayed in was the Degli Artisti. It was spectacular, spacious, beautifully decorated and spotless. The view of Montepulciano from our window was breathtaking. Each morning we enjoyed the incredible made to order breakfast created by Nathalie and Igor. We also were lucky enough to have a dinner prepared by Chef Igor. Don't miss this. Simply amazing! Nathalie and Igor shared the story of their three-year renovation of this 400-year-old farmhouse. It is evident they have poured their heart and soul into every detail while creating this beautiful place. Without their vision and hard work, travelers like us would never have the chance to experience something so magical. When leaving, I was brought to tears thanking them for creating this wonderful home they have chosen to share with us all. We look forward to our next visit.
