Javier is the best! He was so kind and helpful throughout our stay. It seemed like some of the other front desk staff were not as happy to be there..This hotel is a great location walking / biking distance to town. I loved their complimentary activities like s'mores & bracelet making. The pool was super warm. Beds were very comfortable. I think the rooms could use a rug to make it more cozy vs. concrete floors. Overall a very aesthetic hotel. Would come back.

Nicely landscaped hotel on the ocean. Simple rooms with the bare bones "look" that weren't very big, only had room for beds, no closet, no chairs or tables to sit at, very small balcony, basic bathroom on the smaller side, towels were the typical economy hotel types

I stayed at The Marram for a few nights, in a beach-front room. The décor is simple, cozy and chic. The staff is polite and friendly. It is soothing being there as the landscaping of the resort is one with nature. The wood benches, the white covered outdoor furniture, the ritual of lightening the fire pits every evening by devoted staff. I was there in mid-May and I am sure the vibe of the resort gets more intense and louder with the season as it should. But for now, The Marram was just lovely and I plan on visiting again -- same room please! Nelida Mortensen Hearst Visual Editor

This is hands down the best, most beautiful resort in Montauk. The grounds are immaculate and best, friendliest staff!

My husband and I wanted to have a quick weekend getaway where we could quiet our minds and relax and Marram was the perfect place for it. It's stunning and so serene, it truly felt like a retreat. Our room was very clean and we even got upgraded because we were there during the off-season. They provide so many great amentities and experiences - bikes, games, infared mats are all avaialble to borrow, nightly firepits with s'mores, continential breakfast even though the restaurant hadn't opened for the season yet, morning yoga on the pool deck. Every room has a balcony which is where I spent so much time. We were a few steps away from the ocean where we could watch the sunrise and feel like we were the only ones around for miles. If you've been to Montauk in the summer you know it's a special place, but there's something really unique and special about the quiet off season (and Marram in particular) that is restorative and peaceful.

Great stay at the Marram, it's our 2nd time, always in the fall. Everything is high quality and the service is awesome. Everybody in the team is super polite, warm and professional. Big thanks in particular to Javier! Highly recommended, will be back next year!

The room is okay - bed is pretty firm (I dont understand how other hotels have sagging mattresses) and the room was pretty clean. I like the minimalist and peaceful styling, but the concrete flooring took getting used to, the seemingly unfinished paint job raises question marks, and the room was not well lit. These may not necessarily be the most important things, but they don't really create a warm, comfortable room environment either - not exactly one that we're happy to return to after a day outdoors. They did have fire pits going out back which we enjoyed, and they do have a game room where you can enjoy board games with your family. Continental breakfast is very nice as well - nice spread including gluten free options and dairy alternatives to milk. These are nice and unique features of the hotel but honestly, it was quite expensive especially for the off season.

Once you get to the hotel you don’t need to go nowhere, they have everything you need and more. We loved the ocean view, cafe downstairs, fireplace with marshmallows and complimentary yoga. The room was beautiful with awesome-smelling products. It’s a paradise, can’t wait to go back.
